Hiccup, Astrid and I were all patrolling the island tonight and I was heading over to where they were patrolling as I was on a solo patrol on the south part of the island. I get to where they are to see them flying over the Night Terror towers.

"Y/n! Any sign of ships?" Hiccup asked me as Nyra flew next to Toothless.

"There wasn't a ship in sight," I told him and I look over to Astrid to see her looking at the Night Terror towers with a concerned look.

"Very good. The Edge is secure" Hiccup told both Astrid and me but I was looking at Astrid whose eyebrows furrowed together slightly.

"Astrid, I know that look," I told her causing Hiccup to also look at her as she turns to the two of us.

"Where are all the Night Terrors? Aren't they supposed to be on watch, They're our last line of defence." She told us and I looked down as well to see them empty with no Night Terrors in them.

"What the..." I muttered under my breath as we come closer to the Edge.

"Tuffnut!" I hear Hiccup yell out and I sighed, should've seen that one coming but what on Earth is he doing with a Night Terror?

I hear Nyra roar and I look ahead to see the dome ahead and a flock of Night Terrors, most likely meaning that Tuffnut was there with a Night Terror.

We landed and I saw Ruff and Tuff with a Night Terror tugging on a stick, I got off Nyra giving her a small pat before walking over to the twins with Hiccup and Astrid.

"Uh, what are you two doing?" Hiccup asked them and they stopped playing with the Night Terror and looked up at the three of us.

"Uh, what does it look like we're doing? Dragon training!" Ruff answered with a smug grin on her face like it was obvious.

"You would think you, of all people, would recognize that," Tuff told us and I looked at Hiccup and Astrid who both just as a confused look on their faces as well.

"Prepare to be amazed, my friends!" Tuff told while standing up holding the Night Terror.

He held the Night Terror in front of himself "Okay ready little guy?" He asked as the small dragon squirmed around in Tuff's hold.

Tuff put down the Night Terror and the small dragon looked up at the twin.

"Shake!"

Upon Tuff's instruction, the small dragon flopped onto its back and started shaking around like it was having a seizure, which would've concerned me if I didn't know that this is a 'skill'.

However Tuff started laughing and I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turn to see Dracul with a concerned look on his face while pointing at the Night Terror. I look at him and throw my hands up and down, signalling that I don't know.

"Right, see, you thought it'd be a handshake, and he'd put out his little paw, but I taught him-" Tuff started, about to explain his training skill but Hiccup cut him off.

"Oh no no, we understand, I'm just not sure how useful a skill that is."

"Well that's not all he does, wanna see him get my slippers?" Tuff told us and I heard Dracul sigh from the right of me.

"These dragons are not our pets, Tuffnut. They're an integral part of our security system." Astrid explained with a frustrated voice.

"He can also solve math problems by stomping his foot, as long as the answer is always three." He also told us but that was a pretty useless skill to have.
