Your POV
We were all watching everyone run a small training circuit that Astrid had come up with to fight the Dragon Hunters. Snotlout was currently doing the circuit as we all watched and the twins were giving out scores to everyone, including themselves.
"Coming in hot!" Snotlout yelled out with an axe in hand as Hookfang and he flew into action.
"Haha, that's right! Get some, Dragon Hunters, get some!" Snotlout taunted as he swung his axe at the targets that were set up.
"Snotlout, Snotlout, oi, oi, oi! Ha!" Snotlout cheered as he hit another target. This time the target wobbled side to side instead of falling back like all the others and fell forwards onto Hookfang's tail as he flew past it. Hookfang then landed abruptly due to the weight on his tail and Snotlout flew off the saddle.
"Aaaahhh!" Snotlout landed at the twin's feet and looked up at them as they held up their scores with their fingers. Tuff then leaned down to him and muttered something I couldn't quite make out as Hiccup looked at me awkwardly as I also looked at him before looking back at Snotlout.
"Uh, nice effort, Snotlout!" Hiccup told him awkwardly as he got up off the ground.
"We all need to stay sharp, especially with those Dragon Hunters on the loose." Hiccup finished before looking at Astrid, who was last to go in the group.
"Astrid, you're up!" Hiccup told her and she nodded while putting her axe on her shoulder.
"You really should loosen your grip there, boi-oh. It maximizes the bone-shattering potential." A new voice commented, surprising everyone and we all look to see the voice was Spitelout's. Unfortunately.
"Dad?" Snotlout questioned as Spielout walked over to the spears we had in the ground if one of us wanted to use them.
"Spitelout! Eh, what a... what a pleasant surprise." Hiccup greeted awkwardly because it wasn't a pleasant surprise. Spitelout picked up one of the spears and looked at the metal tip while running his finger over it gently.
"Eh, dull." Spitelout criticized as Snotlout walked over him.
"Haha, yeah, I was just telling them that, dad." Snotlout explained to his dad nervously before continuing.
"Hey, did you see that....." Snotlout was cut off by his father placing a hand harshly on his shoulder.
"I come with news from Berk," Spitelout announced to us all, gaining everyone's attention while putting his hands together in anticipation.
"There's to be a union tomorrow between two proud houses: Our family, House Jorgenson, and..." Spitelout announced and Astrid muttered to us before the house was announced.
"What kind of muttonhead would marry into the Jorgenson's?" I nodded my head at her question as I couldn't imagine it.
"...Astrid's family, House Hofferson!" Spitelout called out, causing me to choke on the spit I was swallowing and cough it out at the news.
"Wait, did he just say... House Hofferson?" Astrid asked us all loudly as I still try to take in what I just heard.
"That is unprecedented. There has never been a union between these two families!" Fishlegs informed us as Snotlout walked over to us with a sly smirk on his face.
"Hoffersons have always disliked Jorgenson's, and.." Fishlegs trailed off to let Astrid say the rest of why the two houses dislike each other.
"Jorgenson's have always irritated Hoffersons." She grunted out before pausing.
