September 2018 - part 4 *

Bridget's POV

Seeing Catherine light up tonight with this group of men, made me feel like there is hope for her. I loved watching the guys comaraderie with one another. They're definitely brothers, and most of them have taken Catherine as a sister. Yoongi and I got a chance to talk for a while in the afternoon, and he told me that he loves her. He laughed when I thought he meant he was "in love"... I breathed a relieved sigh when he explained he meant as family.

After the dinner with the guys, Catherine and I walked Hoseok to his room. I was going to leave them alone, but Catherine shook her head lightly at me. She wanted to talk to me, that much was clear. So, she told him goodnight, and kissed his cheek. He looked sad, but let her go, saying he'd see her in the morning.

When we got back to our room, she seemed lost suddenly. I sat her down, but she popped up and grabbed her cigarettes. Going out to the balcony, she lit one and turned to me. I could see her conflict...

"Jungkook kissed me."

"WHAT?!?"

"When you and Yoongi left me waiting for Namjoon... Jungkook came and confessed that he likes me... That he was shy before... Then he kissed me Bridget!"

"Shit... Was it good?"

"Shut up... This is serious."

"I am being serious. If it was a shitty kiss that solves the problem."

"My toes curled..."

"Shit... "

She drifted into her thoughts and I watched as she touched her lips. I know that look... She's in trouble because she has always felt a connection with him. Having read her journal, I would say she felt almost a soulmate-like bond (if they actually exist) with him. She ended up with Hoseok because Jungkook never talked to her... Now he's kissing her, and she's conflicted.

Not to say she doesn't genuinely care for, and even love Hoseok. But it's not the same... I don't know what she'll do. But I understand why she didn't stay with Hobi just now.

"What do I do B?"

"I don't know... You have to figure out for yourself who you want to be with Catherine."

"I can't hurt Hobi like that, so even if I thought about being with Jungkook... It can't happen..."

"Funny thing Cath... The heart doesn't always listen..."

"Why couldn't he have been THAT guy back a year ago? Even when I saw him in Seoul, he was cool towards me... I thought he hated me..."

"Well, he's younger than you. He hadn't figured out how to show you he's a man yet. Now it seems he's got it in spades..."

"I'm screwed."

"Don't disagree Sis..."

"You're a great help B..."

I burst out laughing and she couldn't help but follow. We giggled like school girls for 10 minutes, and it felt nice to have "my Cath" back.

"Honestly though... Who's the better kisser?"

I watched her face turn a beautiful pink color and she looked at me with her huge eyes...

"I can't say... They're so different..."

"How so?"

"Well... Hobi is a sweet kisser... I find myself sighing into his kisses... It's nice. I like kissing him..."

"And Jungkook?"

"Aaaahhh... He has an amazing set of lips... I found myself pulling him back to get more... He made me crazy... It was HOT!"
