Y/n ate with Gray as they both talked about random things. She had to admit it was nice to finally talk to someone after bottling herself up this whole time. Yeah, she used to talk to Romeo and the rest but it was never the same when Natsu disappeared.
"There's a field around here, wanna go train?"
Gray asked y/n making her eyes light up and nod. He chuckled a bit as he grabbed her hand and walked towards the field. As they arrived y/n looked around and saw that it had broken pillars around. Gray immediately went into his fighting stance and swung a punch unexpectedly at y/n. Luckily she had fast reflexes and caught it just in time.
"Someone's playing dirty!"
Y/n yelled as she pushed Gray and kicked him on his back. He winced in pain as he caught his balance in the air. Y/n lit her hand in fire and ran towards Gray. Out of nowhere though she saw Gray grab y/n protectively and pushed her behind him.
"Well look what we have here! Looks like Gray Fullbuster is back!"
Y/n heard a voice say, y/n grew curious wondering who it was. She got out of Gray's grasp and leaned over to see who it was, her eyes widened as the both of them made eye contact. Y/n scowled as she lit her hand with fire.
"Get out of here Sting! We're training!"
Y/n yelled at Sting as she swung a punch at him causing him to fall to the ground. Rogue and Lector had a shocked face as they looked towards at y/n. Sting snapped back into reality as he stood back up. He couldn't help but stare at y/n, her hair had grown longer than last time he saw her and her body and facial features look way different. She looked the same but at the same time she completely changed. She was beautiful to him...
"What are you staring at..?! Leave..!"
"Now y/n, I don't think it's so nice to talk to your best friend like that!"
Sting told y/n as he smirked at her as he faked his asshole personality. Y/n smirked a bit as she shook her head. She grabbed Gray's hand and started to walk away.
"You're not my best friend, Sting. I'll never befriend a scum like you."
Y/n told Sting as she glared at him and turned back around. Sting stood there shocked as he threw a beam of white magic at y/n while she had her back faced to him. Y/n moved over to the side so that the beam wouldn't hit her. Sting stayed there shocked wondering how she knew it was coming towards her. He saw y/n's figure disappear into the distance as he sighed a bit.
