*Cainis Pov*

My date with Keller was today and I was sweating like a facet.

I was able to convince Beth that I was well enough for the date, I only had minor pains in my chest but other than that I was set to go.

Beth agreed to watch the twins for the date so Keller could crash here instead of going home.

Which brings up more of a reason to be nervous, how could I sleep next to him and not fuck him senseless?

I was frustrated and excited and nervous and freaked out all at once.

Fuck pull it together.

The date was at seven, I had two hours to calm myself.

Cainis to Keller:
Can I ask you something?

Keller to Cainis:
Yes..

Cainis to Keller:
You're a vegetarian, aren't you?

Keller to Cainis:
Yeah why? Does that suddenly make me undateable?

Cainis to Keller:
Hell no, you're a sexy vegetarian.

Keller to Cainis:
How'd you know anyway?

Cainis to Keller:
You didn't choose Taco Bell.

Keller to Cainis:
Come again?

Cainis to Keller:
That day in the mall, when me and the twins all had Taco Bell you got cheese pizza instead, I figured you were vegetarian or you just didn't like tacos.

Keller to Cainis:
Good guess. I'll see you at seven.

So I wasn't wrong on choosing Plant, one of the only vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurant's around.

Honestly their food sounded like shit but this was about Keller not me.

Seven rolled around too quick for my nerves to set.

"Come on in, how are you little pups?"

I wanted to tell Beth to not call them pups but this was her house.

"Cainis will be out in a moment."

"I'll wait here, you two be extra good for Bethany and I'll get you a bunch of goodies tomorrow, okay?"

"Oh I'll be so good because I'll get food goodies."

I chuckled as I walked out. It didn't really take me long to know Mercy had an obsession with food.

I walked out in dark jeans and a red V neck sense the place was semi casual but when I saw Keller my mouth gaped.

He was wearing tight levi's with a forest green long sleeve shirt and it fit him in all the right places.

Goddess the things I want to do.

He cleared his throat

"Coming?"

"Uh yeah just let me grab my keys and we'll be out."

I reached beside him for the keys accidentally brushing against him.

My nerves shot.

"Lets go."

The place wasn't busy so parking was breezy. We were seated and both looked over the menu.

"So how long did you fight with Bethany to make this possible?"

I looked at.

"She told you?"
