I heard crying coming from the other room and I sighed, getting up.
I yawned, checking the time seeing 4:26.
She slept later tonight, thank God.
When I came back into the room, Sharife called.
"Yoo?"
"Baby monitor went off. Everything good?"
"Yeah, she's just hungry" I sighed.
"I'm sorry I can't be there to help right now" He said and I waved it off.
"No it's fine. You're gonna be our source of income"
He laughed, making me giggle.
"But aight, I was just making sure everything was aight. Lemme see her"
I turned the camera on her and she opened her eyes all the way.
"Hey baby" Rife cooed, making me smile.
She made a noise and he chuckled.
"Aight, ima let y'all go. I love y'all"
"We love you too" I said, before he hung up.
I fed and changed her before just letting her sleep with me.
She slept until a smooth 9, which was good because I was already up.
I turned my camera off, feeding her.
My teachers already know my situation so they know whenever my camera is off, Kaylie's around.
I fed her before placing her on the pallet on the floor, laying her on her stomach.
I turned my camera back on and finished class.
After that, I don't have another class until 11:33.
Rife called and I answered, tiredly.
"Hi" I yawned.
"Move, where she at?" Isaac, Jamal, Stretch, and Devan said, snatching the phone from Rife.
I laughed, picking her up and showing her.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwuuuuuhhhhh"
"Stretch PLEASE shut up"
"Okay"
They all... talking with her or whatever before giving the phone back to Rife.
He smiled, seeing us.
"Heyyy" He said.
"Hi there"
"How you doing?"
"Holding up, you?"
"Same"
"I really wanna come see y'all"
I half smiled and he stared at me through the screen.
"What?"
"The post baby body is giving me life"
"I know rightttt" I smiled.
"So when's the next time you gon come up here?" I asked and he looked around, thinking.
"I really don't know. Hopefully sometime soon but I mean if not then Christmas"
I nodded.
"I'm sorry for trapping you then leaving" He said, making me laugh.
"You make me sick" I said as he cackled.
