Sex is what you are labelled as a baby, either male or female. In some cases people may be classed as both, also called intersex, meaning they have both male and female genitalia. They are still human.
Gender is what you choose to identify as not what's in your pants. You don't have to be the same gender as your sex, that's the great thing about gender.
No one can tell you what your gender is, it is okay to want to be the opposite gender, both genders, no gender, or even other genders under the gender spectrum.
