Gender binary is the classification of gender into two distinct, opposite forms of masculine and feminine, whether by a social system or cultural belief. Between the two opposing ends - male and female - there are many different gender identifications one can claim for themself, with pronouns to go along with it.
A lot of the major groups - such as Non-binary are "umbrella terms" meaning you can use them as a whole or use a term that relates to it.
Transgender is a good example with transfem and transmasc.
