Broken Glass Jar

I am a jar of broken glass.
Shattered fragments poorly pasted together
Leaving jagged gaps
Gaps stained with the lifeblood of my sanity
As fear robs reason through the hemorrhage
I am a jar of broken glass
So badly glued together the slightest breath
Sends shards in every direction
Splinters projecting into the void
I am a broken glass jar
once so full of life and love and strength
I am a broken glass jar
No longer remotely resembling the whole and vibrant being I was before
I am a broken glass jar
wounding others in my pain
And wounding myself even further when I do
I am a broken glass jar
and I am empty
