Ever since I started public school, I had noticed her. She was absolutely gorgeous. But there was something about her, the way her lips curved in a smile threw me off the edge...
I caught a glimpse of the sunlight pouring through the windows, a smile spreading across my lips as I could feel my neck being feathered with kisses. "Morning, love." Adrien whispered gently in my ear, I glanced up at him as he walked passed our bed and into the closet.
I got up from bed, taking a deep breath as I headed to the kitchen to make some tea to start the day. I also made some coffee, because I know that Adrien couldn't make it through work without his morning dose of caffeine.
He came down dressed for work, apparently he was supposed to be modeling some boxer brand today. I didn't like that... The idea of other girls seeing him in his boxers. But I didn't mind, because I knew he was mine. And I trusted him. He came down with a smile on his face, as I poured his mug with coffee.
He sat on one of the seats surrounding the island in the midst of our kitchen, as I served him breakfast. A plate with scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. I sat in front of him, sipping on my morning tea. "Did you finish the design you've been working on lately?" He asked thoughtfully.
I nodded, "The girl even sent me a picture of how she looked in her prom dress, she said she loved it. It fit her very nicely." Adrien smiled, "Ah, prom. No one looked more beautiful than you on prom..." Adrien sighed as he day dreamed about the beautiful dress his wife had worn that day.
I giggled, "Yeah, no one also went to the hospital during prom either." he shrugged, "I think the whole situation made our relationship stronger. I mean, you're my wife now. I wonder what would've happened if you never had the case of amnesia." Adrien said.
I shrugged, "Who knows? That was 4 years ago anyway." I said simply, yet still curious. I had thought about it many times, what would've happened if I never got amnesia. I couldn't imagine the pain I put Adrien through, I hated that I hurt him. But I'm glad it all worked out anyway.
Adrien finished up his plate and went to the sink to go rinse it, he turned around and hugged me from behind. I turned around in his arms, giving him a kiss. "Have a great day at work." I said, he smirked. "And when I get home..?"
I winked at him, "Well I guess you'll just have to wait and see what happens." I teased, his eyes widened slightly as a rosy blush bloomed across his cheeks. "Hurry home!" I said, he saluted me. "Yes ma'am!" He joked before hurrying out the door, I giggled.
A lot had happened since 4 years ago... Too many things to count. My business finally took off, Adrien and I had finally gotten married... We finally defeated hawkmoth, only to find out it was Gabriel Agreste. I hated all the pain Adrien had gone through. I wanted to be one of the things that didn't cause him so much pain.
A lot of other things happened too. But I was glad things had turned out the way they were. I'm glad I met Adrien. Life can be unpredictable... The only thing predictable about life, is it's unpredictability. My eyes widened as I looked at the test in my hands.
This unexplainable feeling inside me.
I looked at the positive, pregnancy test in my hands. My heart pounding as I heard the front door open and close. "Honey, I'm home!" I heard Adrien say.
Took you like a shot, thought that I could chase you with the cold evening
But a couple years watered down how I'm feeling about you...
And every time we talk, every single word leads up to this moment
And I gotta convince myself I don't want it even though I do...
You could break my heart in two...
But when it heals it beats for you...
I know its forward but its true.
I wanna hold you, when I'm not supposed to...
When I'm lying close to someone else... You're. Stuck. In my head and I can't get you out of it...
