"Mr Grayson's son?? Ethan Gray?" Laura shrieked and dad groaned loudly.

"What?" She snapped at him.

"Stop repeating it!" He yelled.

"Ugh" she rolled her eyes.

"So they gonna come over today?" Dad asked and I nodded.

"Does Mr. Grayson know this?" Laura asked and I nodded.

"How do you know that?" Dad frowned.

"Ethan must have told him." I said.

"Hm."

"So when are they gonna be here?" He asked.

"They're here." Laura sighed.

"Azra!" Dad yelled and Azra can downstairs in a few seconds.

"Yeah?"

"Get cookies and tea. Aurora go get Ivy." Dad said.

I and Azra exchanged looks and parted.

I went up to Ivory's room and sighed at the sight of her.

She was playing with Aaron.

"You spend literally all your time in here." I said.

"You rather I die friendless? A baby is better than nothing." He said immediately.

I raised a brow.

"But you have friends.." I said.

"Really? How many of them have you seen?" He asked.

"None but you always talk about them?" I asked.

"And you believed without seeing them and I never received any calls from my friends." He raised a brow.

"Aaron, you're a case. Can I have my daughter?" I asked and he handed over Ivory who was busy trying to hit two toys together to make a sound.

"Alright Ivy, wanna officially meet your dad and his family?" I cooed pecking her cheek and she giggled.

"Are you gonna come?" I asked Aaron.

"I'm good." He said turning on the TV.

"Right.." I nodded and left the room.

He's too much of an introvert for his own good and I can't believe he lied about his friends!

He doesn't have any friend.

That's kinda sad and he may need serious help.

Just kidding, I can hook him up with a girl so he won't be so lonely.

I mean I like the fact that he keeps Ivory company and all that but frankly he's wasting his time.

Very soon his IQ will be reduced to that of a baby's which would make him an extra introvert cause he'll be a disappointment to the outer world.

My good lord, I'm so dramatic or maybe I'm trying to avoid thinking of my predicament downstairs.

"Hurry Aurora." Dad said snapping me out of my thoughts.

I got downstairs and Mr. Grayson lifted Ivory from my arms before I even did or said anything.

"She's really adorable ey?" He asked.

"Yeah." My dad smiled softly.

"And my good lord! She looks just like E, right E?" Mr. Grayson asked his son.

I looked up at Ethan who was leaning against the front door with his arms folded.

When his dad called his name he looked at him.

"Yes she looks like me." He said attitudinally.

"Yes." His dad nodded hugging the girl to him with a bright smile on his face.

"So uhm are you and Ethan a thing?" My dad asked.

"No, we don't like each other that way." I frowned.

"Actually we don't like each other in any way at all." Ethan corrected.

Ouch.

"Oh... I see a negative vibe going on there, we'll work on that." Mr. Grayson whispered to my dad but come on, I'm pretty sure everyone heard.

"Everyone is taking this surprisingly well." Azra muttered next to me and I jumped subtly.

"When did you get here?!" I whisper yelled.

"Now?" She frowned.

"You scared me." I said. "Sorry." She shrugged.

The adults sat and had tea and talked about Ivy, I , Ethan and their works while I and Azra chatted about other stuffs on the staircase.

We were sitting on the bottom step.

Ethan was on his phone sitting on a sofa opposite the adults.

This went surprisingly well like Azra said.
