| Chapter 19 • Back in Business |

I was up and out surprisingly, I had enough of being trapped in my apartment and I missed being in the studio with my girls. I didn't know it but we actually had a video shoot today so thats where I'm heading to. We're shooting the video for No, No, No part one, the girlies were surprised to see me, I was surprised I was here hell. But what surprised me was Kobe mother fucking Bryant was here. Kobe Bryant yall.

"Jt! Swear I didn't think you would show!" Token hugs me, "We convinced Kole to give you more time, but you're here! Go get dressed and meet us out here, your outfit is hanging up in our dressing room." Onyx adds on with a hug

"You gotta get hair and stuff done too, I think we can just go do all of our single scenes and things while you get dressed." They nod and show me to the dressing room before scurrying off

I quickly put my clothes on and somewhat straightened my hair out but I knew the hairdresser would want to touch me up. I looked sorta dead but my color was coming in again, I didn't look depressed but you could kinda read something was wrong. I'm gonna hide it and have fun

I walk out of the dressing room and to the hairdresser/makeup room and saw Kobe talking to one of the makeup artists, I blushed hard as hell

"I hope I'm not interrupting." I smile softly, "No, have a seat sweetheart." Su says (we'll call the hairdresser Su)

I did as she told me to and sat down, Kobe just sorta stared at me, "Is there something wrong, Mr. Bryant?" I ask softly, he takes a seat in front of me and smiles softly

"Nothing at all, I just really think you're beautiful- really beautiful actually but my boy Michael Jackson already got you, and please call me Kobe." He says, I blush softly, "Michael and I broke up like 3 months ago, Kobe. You can call me Jayden, or Jt if you want." I said with a smile

"Nice to meet you, Jt." He holds his huge ass hand out for me to shake, I don't think my smile could get any wider, "Nice to meet you too Kobe, what are you doing down here?" I ask, "I was with my friend Austin and to my surprise he and Token are dating, he wanted to see her." He says (we're giving him a friend)

"Dating? You sure? Token, thats my bestfriend besides Onyx, you sure they're dating? She would've told me." I frowned my face in confusion, "You mentioned you and Michael broke up right?" I nod my head

"Maybe because you're dealing with a breakup you're focused on trying to recollect yourself. Its very common, so don't feel bad about it." He advices

I blush softly and thank him, after a couple of seconds of silence he breaks it, "I hope I'm not rushing you but I wanna take you out- it doesn't have to be a date date but I really would like to take you out." Kobe says, "I'd love to Kobe but I'm honestly not fully over Michael." I admit, it kinda hurt saying it but I don't wanna lead Kobe on

"I sorta had a feeling you would say that so it doesn't have to be a date, just so we could get to know each other. Dinner?" Kobe smirks softly, I just gave him and nodded, "I'm down." I said as the makeup artists start on me

"When are you thinking though? Are you busy tonight?" I ask, "I'm not, we can go to dinner tonight."

"That sounds fantastic, Kobe." I smile softly before being completely still and calm so she could finish my lips

After a second I was finished, man I look great. We didn't get to get any pictures in because we were sorta rushing but you'll see them in the video 🙃. (in the mm)

I wasn't necessarily tired after shooting, we have one more day but I wasn't just fully energized. I went home- with Kobe's number and got myself together.

I took a good, hot shower, did my hair but decided to just put lipgloss on- my face was already beat, I chose something cute but comfortable and grabbed everything I needed. For some reason I was expecting a message from Michael, I didn't get one though, he and Tatiana are happy so I should be too.

This is the look, it was very simple but it was pretty.

I took a couple of pictures before seeing that Kobe texted

I grab my purse and make my way downstairs, as I opened the door I was greeted with red roses and a wide smiling Kobe

"Hi." I grin a bit, "Hey, I didn't know what flowers you like so I went with Red Roses, I hope these are okay." He says, "I love them, actually, you can come insde while I put these in water if you'd like." I smile before walking off to thn kitchen

"Nice place, very unique." Kobe says, looking around a bit, "Thank you, I try to do things differently." I smile at him as I sit the roses in a vase with water

I place them by the window and grab my house key that I almost left, "Ready? I'm not too dressed up am I? I could change into a tank and jeans." I grin after examining his outfit

He was in a t-shirt and jeans, very casual so it made me think I may be overdressed. "No no, you look stunning. Lets go." Kobe holds his hand out for me to grab, I of course did anddd we left

Yea I'll speed it up girlies, we went out to dinner at this cute little restaurant, Kobe rented it out so no one would see us and ruin it. We talked about any and everything and had plenty of laughs, we agreed to go to the club and have a couple of drinks. Of course people saw us and took pictures, we dances together and just had some fun. It was a very very fun night, we may have had one too many drinks and had to get out bodyguard and Onyx to get us, man we were slumped.

I can definitely call Kobe if I wanted to come to the club or just to laugh, he's a really good person forreal. Forgot to mention we had a big fight- playful fight on who would pay, it went back and forth but Kobe eventually won, I did pay for a couple of his drinks though. Man, tonight was a fun night
