It's been two days since Mew saw Kris at the amusement park and has been worried about him finding out him and Gulf, he then decided to call Kris.
"Hey bro what's up?" Kris asked Mew immediately he picked up
"I'm good bro, you?" Mew asked
"I'm fine too Mew, you called..hope there is no problem" asked Kris which made Mew laugh
"No bro, does that mean I always call whenever I have a problem mnn?" Mew asked with a joking tone which also made Kris laugh
"I didn't mean that" Kris replied
"So how are you and how is business?..hope everything and everyone is fine" Mew asked
"Yeah, everyone and everything is good" Kris replied
"Ok bro, I visited you in your home but you were not around..did you travel?" Mew lied in order to know Kris aim of being in America
"Uhm yeah, I'm in my parents house..Gulf travelled for work so I decided to chill" Kris replied while Mew was kinda shocked to why Kris was lying because he knows that Kris parents doesn't stay abroad
"Ok bro" Mew said
"Don't cut the call Mew..will be back right now, wanna go to the toilet quickly, we need to catch up with stuffs okay" Kris said
"Alright bro, be quick though" Mew replied while chuckling
"Daddy Daddy carry me up" Mew heard a little boy
"Liam stop that, dad is on a call..let's go" Mew heard another voice say
"Uhm Kris who are those people? Where are you?" Mew asked
"Uhm Mew I have to go now, will call you back" Kris said and quickly cut the call, hoping that Mew didn't hear his son calling him Daddy.
Mew was confused because he knows that Kris doesn't have a child, he then remembered that he saw Kris with a little boy at the amusement park buying ice cream...Mew didn't know what to make of the situation though it was suspicious but he shunned it as he thought that the child can belong to anyone and maybe is used to calling Kris "Daddy".
Mew then left his room to get water and also to check up on Gulf, as he was leaving the kitchen after taking water, he saw Gulf watching a movie while eating popcorn..he seemed to be enjoying himself which made Mew smile, he then went to join Gulf in watching the movie.
"Ahh Mew you're here, I didn't notice when you came, are you done working in your laptop?" Gulf asked
"Yes I have been done with it, was on phone with Kris some minutes ago" Mew replied
"Ohh..any problem? We spoke this evening and he seemed to be fine" Gulf asked
"There's no problem Gulf, just wanted to check up on him" Mew replied, he didn't want to tell Gulf about his suspicion because he didn't actually know what it was and he shouldn't pry into their marital life
"Alright, care for some popcorns? I made them..was craving for it so badly, didn't want to disturb you from your work so I made them myself" Gulf said with a smile
"Thanks Gulf but I don't feel like eating popcorn now, let me go and prepare dinner okay" Mew said and was about standing up when he had another phone call from Tar
"Hi Tar, how are you doing? I thought you have forgotten your friend" Mew said in a sulking tone, Tar haven't really been visiting and calling him like always
"Oh Mew, don't be a grumpy baby now.. I'm good but was busy that's why I haven't been checking up on you, hope you're good?" Tao said while chuckling
"I'm good Tar, it's good to hear from you again" Mew said while smiling oblivious of the glares that Gulf was giving him, he wasn't interested in his movie again because he was seriously paying attention to their phone call after he found out that it was Tar Mew was talking with on the phone.
"Mew I actually called to ask you if you would be able to come for a friend of mine's birthday as my date tomorrow, you know they think I am finally dating and I really don't know how to tell them that we have broken up already, they will surely laugh at me and they are all coming with their dates..I really don't want to be the odd one but if you can't make it don't worry yourself, I will have to face them like that" Tar said innocently
"It won't be a problem Tar, you're my good friend and I won't want you to be the odd one too after all there is nothing there to be your date for a night okay, you don't have to worry..just text me the time, I will pick you up tomorrow" Mew said while smiling unknown to the evil plan that Tar has in store for him and he was still oblivious at how darkened Gulf's face was at the mention of him being Tar's date.
"Really Mew? Honestly I thought you wouldn't agree,I'm really so happy and grateful Mew, thanks a lot" Tar said happily
"You're welcome Tar, what are friends for..you can count on me for anything okay, I have to go now okay, goodnight" Mew said while chuckling at how happy Tar sounded just because he agreed
"Ok Mew, goodnight I will text you in the morning, see you tomorrow" Tar said and cut the call
"What is you being Tar's date all about?" Gulf asked and Mew was surprised because he sensed jealousy in the tone that Gulf used
"It's nothing really Gulf, Tar just wants to be his date at his friend's birthday party tomorrow" Mew explained
"And you agreed?" Gulf asked in a quite tone which kinda seemed sad to Mew
"I didn't see a reason why not to agree, he's my good friend and it's just for me to be his date for a night that's all" Mew explained, the conversation felt kind of weird to him because it seemed like he was explaining himself to his boyfriend or wife
"Ok,good for you..enjoy yourself tomorrow okay and maybe you can also find someone you like there, I'm going to bed now..I'm not hungry" Gulf said annoyed and was about going which confused Mew on why he was acting that way, he doesn't want to have issues with Gulf
Before Gulf could leave Mew hugged him from the back
"Gulf you're acting like a baby right now, what's the problem, you don't want me to go for the party? Are you in any way jealous mmnh??" Mew asked while smiling secretly and teasing Gulf
"Huhh?? Jealous? W-who is jealous, I'm not..you can go for the party, you're an adult...I really don't care" Gulf said grumpily which made him sound even more jealous which made Mew laugh
"You're such a big baby Gulf, don't worry I will go and come back fast okay, don't think much it" Mew said and kissed Gulf's forehead, he didn't know why he did it but he felt like that would cool Gulf and it worked because Gulf suddenly hugged him
"Come back fast okay tomorrow okay, I will surely miss your presence in this big house" Gulf said sulkily
"I will okay, now keep watching your movie and eating your popcorn while I go prepare dinner okay?" Mew said
"Ok Mew" Gulf said and then pecked Mew on the lips which surprised Mew before he started grinning like a mad man which made Gulf blush immediately he realized what he did..he then quickly went to eat his popcorn and watch his movie while still blushing deeply with his heart beating fast.
Mew also went to prepare dinner not knowing what was in store for him the next day.
