Jill's POV
"Damn!" I told Sam to help me move the small table towards the door to give us ample time. That was if they don't have anymore bombs.
I only got a few rounds and an extra clip. It's not very wise to face them head on. They probably got automatics with them.
Observing the room, I motioned for Sam to go to the bathroom. I looked at the window and saw that it was impossible to climb up or down.
Shit!
And I have no idea how many are they. I might be a good shot but I have never killed anyone before. The perp that I encountered were just rats as compared to these lions. I don't even know if I could stomach killing someone. But as I was trained, never second guess a perp because second guessing will cause innocent people to die. Murphy's probably dead and there's no chance in hell that I'll let them kill my Sam.
"Hide there and don't open this door unless it was me." She tried to refuse but I shove her away and closed the door.
I opened the windows, took the bed covers and made it look like that we escaped by the window. Then I hid at inside the closet.
Just as I closed the door, bullets rained from the door and as expected, they were using automatic weapons based on the noise.
The small table have been disintegrated while the door shattered to the ground. Three armed and muscular men strove inside the room and when they saw the opened window, they ran towards it to check. "Damn! They escaped!"
From my observation, they were all wearing heavy vest so I need to aim high. Either neck or head and I only had one chance or else I'll be like the table. "Find them!"
Before they could even move, I went out from the closet but the door made some noise that made them turn on my direction. But having the upper hand, i shot the first guy straight to his forehead the moment that he turned around. He dropped dead and when the second one raised his weapon, I shot again and he fell as the last one managed to shoot back.
I managed to ran out the room as the bullet followed me. When he stopped shooting, I dropped to the ground and shot him at the head.
"Game's over!" I looked up and saw that there was a fourth man. His finger was ready to fire the trigger. I closed my eyes and submitted to my fate. At least I tried.
Bang!
I waited for the pain to come but there was none. When I opened my eyes, the gunman was dead on the ground. I searched around and saw Murphy lying on the ground barely breathing with his clothes all sliced up and a lot of blood covering his whole body. "Sergeant!" I ran towards him to put pressure on his wound. "Don't you dare die in me!" I searched for his phone and dial 911. The enemy already knew where we were so fuck it.
I then dialed Kim. She's the only person I trust next to Sam.
"That's you? We received the message, we're on our way."
She hang up and probably sped up faster if that's even possible.
I could hear sirens approaching but I still need to be on guard since one of them might be one of them. "Where's Sam?" Murphy uttered. I could see that he's hurt very badly and probably wont last long. "Go to her... I'll be fine." I hesitated but he insisted. "Go!"
"Sam? It's me." She opened the door and hugged me tightly. "Come on. Murphy's hurt." But before we left the room, I took the weapon from the first guy I killed as well as few clips. If there's going to be any surprise then I should be ready.
"Jill! You're bleeding." My stitches must have popped out so I went to put pressure on my shoulder. "Not that one... Your leg!" It was then that the pain registered.
