These poems were written out of the love for horses, for every horse I have ever been in contact with or dreamt existed. Raised in a barn, my very being is entwined with the equines, but life has had a way of pulling me away from them, be that family falling outs, divorce, or simply lack of funds. These poems span 40 years of my life, told in no particular order from even my earliest memories. Most are dedicated to a specific horse, named at the bottom. Please note those that are recurring as I try to represent every journal-worthy memory of such dear companions. The poems here represent the hoofprints on my soul.
