Extra Chap. 1 Holiday Season

Rimuru's POV

Winter was finally here, although when I walked around town no one was doing anything festive. Everyone was just going about their normal business, whether it was making armor or clothes to training. "Daddy!" Y/n yelled. I turned back to see her running towards me, when she reached me she gave me a hug. "What are you up to, sweetie?" I asked. 

"I was with Shuna watching her make clothes." Y/n said. 

"That's cool..." I said.

"Are you okay, daddy?" Y/n asked. 

"Yeah, I just miss a few things from my world." I said. 

"Like what?" Y/n asked.

"Well, around this time of year there was sometimes snow and people would get together and give presents to each other. It was just a really fun time of year." I explained. Y/n looked at me, almost begging for me to show her. "Let's see, maybe if I change icicle shotgun a bit. Maybe I can make it snow a little." I said. We walked to the edge of town and I used Icicle shotgun, changing it just enough to make it snow around us. I did it a few times so we could have about a foot of snow on the ground. Y/n looked at it in amazement before jumping into it. She jumped out of the snow, shivering. "It's pretty cold, huh?" I asked. She nodded. "Thank you for showing me snow, I'm going to go see Shuna again." Y/n said running off to find Shuna. I looked around at the snow and grabbed a hand full, not feeling the cold from it because of my skills. 

Y/n's POV

I ran back to Shuna to ask if we could make something for daddy as a present. "Auntie Shuna!" I yelled running over to her. She looked at me a little worried. "What's wrong lady Y/n?" Shuna asked. 

"Can you help me make something for my dad?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" Shuna asked.

"Can we make him something like a coat or a scarf?" I asked.

"I guess we can make him something like that, but why do you want to do it?" Shuna asked. I told her what daddy told me about the season where people gave presents. "Okay, let's do it. How about we make him a scarf?" Shuna said. I nodded and followed her as she lead me to her shop.

"How about we make it your favorite colors/colours and give it to him so he knows it's from you." Shuna suggested. I nodded, as she taught me how to make the scarf once I finished it I tried to hide it. "Here use this bag to hide it in." Shuna said handing me a bag. I took it and put the scarf in it. I ran around town trying to find daddy before heading to the town hall, I found him sitting in the meeting room with a few of his friends. "Daddy?" I asked quietly entering the room.

"Hi sweetie, what's in the bag?" Daddy asked. I walked up to him and handed him the bag. "I made this present for you." I said stepping back. He looked at me a little shocked before opening the bag and pulling out the scarf. "What's this?" Daddy asked. 

"Auntie Shuna suggested making a scarf for you, she even taught me how to do it." I said smiling at him. He wrapped it around his neck before giving me a hug. "Thank you sweetie. I love my present.
