Chapter 43

Y/n's POV

After everyone had shown up and we were seated Rain the demon that Misery had mentioned as a partner of her's started introducing everyone including their names, titles and races. I looked at each person as Rain introduce them. The ones who caught my attention was Leon and Clayman. When Rain introduced me I bowed my head slightly while everyone sort of seemed a little shocked. After introductions Clayman stood up and set the little fox he was carrying down on the table. "Rapheal, will you please do an appraisal on that three tailed fox?" I asked. Rapheal did a fast appraisal before letting me know that the fox was under a controlling spell called "Demon Dominate" before I saw the fox looking at me. As I looked at the fox I saw it staring at me. "Help me..." Something said. I realized that it was the fox talking to me through "Thought Communication" before I could see the pain that she was suffering from the curse.

"What's going on? How can I feel her pain?" I asked.

"Notice, due to the effects of the unique skill 'Tempest, Daughter of Storms' Y/n Tempest can feel the pain of any creature from the last few months." Rapheal explained.

"Have you done a full appraisal on my unique skill?"  I asked. 

"The appraisal is still in progress, however I will let you know when it's complete." Rapheal said. I nodded slightly before I blinked and saw Clayman talking and walking around the room. He was talking about how Carrion talked papa into becoming a demon lord before pointing at me. "And this child has no right to be called a demon lord, she's far too young to even have the level of power needed to be one." Clayman said.

"Oh? Are you wanting a fight so I can prove how powerful I am?" I asked. I heard him grumble about something before saying that Carrion's army was held up in Tempest. "What's more Carrion instigated the kingdom of Falmuth leading them to invade the Great Forest of Jura." Clayman said. I got bored and pulled out a volume of manga before starting to read it. I heard a growl come from Clayman before he stormed over to me. "Do you really find something like this to be dull? You're the ones who caused all this mess!" Clayman shouted, slamming his hand on the table. I continued to read without looking up at him. He went on to talk about Mjurran and how papa killed her. Apparently papa also conspired with Carrion to kill Clayman and when I thought about it. We were doing the same thing just without Carrion's help or anything like that.

"After Milim learned about Carrion's betrayal, she became enraged. She then destoryed the Animal Kingdom of Eurazania and Carrion was killed." Clayman said. I looked at Milim who seemed to be holding a blank stare the entire time Clayman was talking. "This is impressive, I never thought auntie Milim could hold up an act this long." I thought. Clayman continued talking about what auntie Milim did and how he scolded her for it. Eventually he finished by saying that papa and I needed to be purged. "Next on the dockett, our guests will give their own explanation." Rain said. I looked over the edge of my manga seeing papa stand up. "Do you need me to help?" I asked.

"No, I'll be fine." Papa said. I nodded and went back to reading. I only heard bits and pieces from papa's speech before Clayman started going off on papa again. A deep voice broke me from my story before I looked up to see Dagruel talking. "Yeah, quick question. Earlier you testified that this RImuru fellow conspired with Carrion to instigate Falmuth's army before wiping them out. Assuming that Veldora is really back if it's even true, why would he need to use such round about methods in order to accomplish his goal?" Dagruell asked. Once Clayman started talking again I went back to my story doing my best to ignore him. "Notice. The indiviual 'Clayman' is trying to use 'Demon Marionette' to control you. Would you like for me to continue resisting?" Rapheal asked.

"Yeah, it'll make things fun if he realizes that he can't control me." I answered. Papa started talking again about the evidence before the table I was leaning on disappeared. I quickly sat back in the chair and kept reading. Clayman started talking about the violence that papa was causing before I stood up and stepped to the side. Papa kicked my chair towards him shattering it against the wall. "Violence you say? Weird. Big words coming from someone who was trying to mind control me the entire time." Papa said. I finally put my book away and looked at Clayman. "Did you rreally have to try and control me too?" I asked. Clayman was clearly shocked that I wasn't control. "Really? You tried to use your magic on my daughter? It makes me wonder if using magic like that is even allowed at Walpurgis." Papa said.

"It's not. In the interest of immpartiality, you can only appeal to us using your own physical words." Guy said. 

"What? Try to be reasonable. He's insulting us demon lords." Clayman said.

"Shut up!" Papa said, walking towards the center to look at the demon lords.

"If you have a problem with us, settle it with us." I said. 

"Like I said before the status of demon lord means nothing to me. I only want to build a nation where I can enjoy my life comfortably and I need the help of humans to achieve that goal. Which is why I've decided to protect them. Anyone who decides to interfere with that is my enemy." Papa said. Papa and Clayman stared at each other for a second before Guy spoke up again. "They've got a point. If you are a demon lord then you should fight these majins' yourself. Defeat him using your own strength and win. Also do you two proclaim to be demon lords?" Guy

"Yeah, I've already accepted the role as leader of the Great Forest of Jura in the human's eyes I am a demon lord." Papa said. Guy nodded and turned to look at me. "I'm also proclaiming myself to be a demon lord." I said.

"Alright, luckily for you Rimuru. You're surrounded by a room full of witness' if you can manage to defeat Clayman in front of us. We will acknowledge you as a true demon lord." Guy explained. Papa was clearly ready for a fight before looking at me. "What about Y/n?" Papa asked.

"Ah yes, the most unique person here. She may join your fight if she wishes, but we'll have to see about her fighting another demon lord or see if she has enough votes to be viewed as recognized demon lord." Guy said.
