Chapter 33

Y/n's POV

"Lady Y/n! Stay back!" Shion shouted, before falling to her knees. 

"What's this? You guys have a neko here?" The guy said, looking back at me. I took a step forward before the guy appeared in front of me. "Let's take you out of the picture, little girl." He said, winding his fist back. His fist came flying towards me, which I blocked before uppercutting him and sending him into the air. "Out of my way." I growled. He landed on his feet, looking up at me, spitting out some blood. "That's quite the punch you have there. I'm surprised the barrier isn't working on a monster like you." He said. I headed over to Shion, handing her a full potion to use. "I can't take this lady Y/n, you might need it against him." Shion said. I looked at her before smiling and patting her head. She nodded and used the potion on herself. "That was a lucky shot." The guy said, rubbing his chin.

"Lady Y/n, you need to head over to where lady Shuna is. She was dealing with a sword user." Shion said.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" I asked.

"Of course, I'd never let lord Rimuru down by making you fight this battle." Shion said. 

"Alright, be careful." I said. She nodded before I ran off to look for mama. When I got to where the fight was, I saw master Hakurou fighting someone new, but he was slower than normal. The new person knocked Hakurou's sword up before slashing his chest. "Master?" I asked. I watched as a pool of blood formed around his body. Gobta walked towards him before passing out. The new guy went to step on Gobta, but I stopped him with my sword. "You won't be hurting anyone else here." I said. He started laughing before pushing his leg down further. He looked down to see that my sword hadn't moved, but he was being lifted. "So the little cat girl thinks she can play with the big boys and stop me?" He said.

"I can stop you, but before I do, you need to back off." I said, punching him in the stomach. He flew back landing on the ground stopping himself with his sword. "Wow, so much power from such a little girl." He said.

"What a horrible cry from your sword. It's clear that you're nothing but a cheat swordsmen." I said.

"What are you talking about? Didn't you see that my skill was the thing that took down your master?" He asked. 

"You have no skill, you decided to face a master while using something to improve your own power and diminish ours." I said. He just scoffed at me before rushing towards me. His sword strikes were slow as they came towards me. I dodged most of his attacks with ease while managing to land a few slashes myself. "Why can't I hit you?" He asked. I shook my head as I blocked another of his attacks. I heard some horses making a lot of noise before the guy tried  striking me again. "It's been fun, but I need to go address something else." I said, knocking his sword away from him. 

"Oh, are you sure that leaving this woman and this little goblin here for me to deal with is a good thing?" He asked. 

"They'll be fine." I said. I left heading towards where I was hearing the horses. When I got to where I heard the horses, I saw knights in full armor with swords and shields drawn. I saw Shion laying on the ground with a little goblin girl standing by her. I ran over to the little girl before picking her up and taking her to an alley. "Hey wanna play a game with me?" I asked. She nodded and looked at me. "Alright, I need you to cover your ears and close your eyes. We'll see who can do it the longest." I said with a smile. The girl nodded and quickly started the game before I walked out to check on Shion. I rolled her body over seeing that she wasn't breathing and her horn was broken. "Shion?" I asked, shaking her body.

As I was trying to get Shion up a set of hoves stopped in front of me. "This is what happens when you monsters make a town. This country broke the law of humans and now we're going to make you pay. We'll returned in seven days to purify this country." The man said. 

"I won't let that happen. You'll pay for the lives of the innocents you killed. I'll be the one to kill you." I said, turning to look up at him.

"Then it'll be best to kill you right now." He said, raising his sword. I glared at him before a gust of wind picked up. "You will leave my country and never return, cause if you do there's no place in this world where you could hide that'll be safe." I said. His horse started freaking out before he rode away. "Unique skill obtained, it's called 'Tempest, daughter of storms.'" Great sage said. 

Fires were raging from the streets to different buildings, I ended up walking around seeing the bodies of all the people that the knights killed. "Why?" I asked myself. Great sage responded telling me that she didn't have enough information. As I was walking around I saw mama looking at me sadly before she started to walk over to me. "Y/n, I'm so glad that you're okay." Mama said. 

She hugged me before I gripped her clothes. "What's wrong sweetie?" Mama asked. I just buried my face into her clothes. "Let's go somewhere safe." Mama said. I shook my head before looking up at her. "No, I want to go check on something and see if anyone else needs help." I said. 

"Do you want me to come with you?" Mama asked. I nodded and grabbed her hand before heading over to where I had the goblin girl hide and Shion's body was laying out. "Oh no, what happened here?" Mama asked. I let go of her hand and walked into the alley where I had the goblin girl hide. She was still playing the game I had her play, I gently touched her shoulder before she opened her eyes. I smiled at her before petting her head. "You won." I said. She cheered before I grabbed her hand and led her towards the capital building.
