I picked up shivani and dropped her at hospital.
The whole way she seemed nervous. ..as if she has to give an exam....to relax her I stopped at Starbucks where I first saw her...
"Wat are we doing here?" She asked
"Coffee....your hospital is only 5 minutes from here...."
"Hmmm....ok"
"Will you relax dum dum...you are not going to answer an exam..."
"I am relaxed. ..(looking away from me)"
"Really?"
"Ummm....yaaaaa"
"You can't lie to me you know that"
"Ohhh.... its just....I hope today goes well....if it does ill be fine. ...I wanna give it a fresh start and I want it to go well"
"It will m sure.... just remember no matter what happens your family and friends are always with you!"
"Yes I know that and I dont want to let them down....again"
" you never do and u never did and u never will....I m sure of that. ..bcoz you are a good doctor. ...its not just me telling ...even doctor rajkumar told me once"
"Really? (Smiling like a kid)"
"Yes ...now common lets go have coffee"
"Ok..."
After having coffee and talking (rather pulling eachother's leg)
I dropped her at the hospital. ..she seemed better now. ...
"Thanks arjun.... the 'chat' and coffee helped"
"M glad I could be of some help...text me when you free....ill pick you up"
"You have work apart from being my driver?"
"Hahaha .... I do...but today I dont have much work...so relax "
"Hahaha ok ...thanks"
And she left...
I drove to my office. ..
After reaching. ...my secretary got me my today's schedule. ..
At around 5 in the evening my mobile rang....since I was almost done for the day...I assumed it was my driver's duty .....I picked the phone without looking at the caller id...
"Hello shivani...done for the day?"
"Hello arjun beta?"
"Mom...what happened. ..why are you sounding so tensed?"
"Beta....m in the hospital"
I stood up from my chair ready to leave my office
"Why what happened ma?"
"Beta your father had a massive heart attack ..... so we rushed him to the hospital (almost crying)"
"My God!!...m on my way ma...relax...m on my way!"
