Expectations { ᴀ ʜᴀɴᴀᴋᴏ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ ꜱᴛᴏʀʏ }

▀▄▀▄▀▄ 🎀 𝑅𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓅 🎀 ▄▀▄▀▄▀

She suddenly jumped down, landing perfectly and stood up looking directly at Yashiro in the eye with her magnificent ones. She tipped her hat slightly and gave her a big grin. It looked so similar to Hanako-kun's it kinda scared her. But her eyes, that is what she couldn't get over - it just brought out her whole face, making her more pretty.  

" Hello, I'm Akari Y/n, and it's very nice to meet you.." 

¸,ø¤º°'°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°     °º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°'°º¤ø,

Yashiro stood there dumbfounded and tried her best not to stare, but it was nearly impossible with those eyes of hers... so mesmerizing she felt like she could stare at them all day if she really wanted to. Meanwhile, Hanako stood there waving a hand in front of Yashiro. " Hellooo? Looks like she's staring!"  Yashiro flinched and looked at Hanako. " O-oh! S-sorry! Uhm.."  Yashiro once again looked back up at Akari Y/n, or in this case Y/n since Hanako calls her that apparently. 

The daikon hesitantly lended out her hand, waiting for her to shake. " H-hello! I'm Yashiro Nene! I-it's nice to.. finally meet you!" Yashiro stuttered, though she didn't know why.  W -why the heck did I stutter like that!? I never usually do that.. but in Y'n's case.. it seems different somehow.  Yashiro stood there again and an awkward silence filled the room, making them sweatdrop. Yashiro suddenly noticed the girl - or Y/n's expression. It wasn't awkward or anything it just.. surprised her. 

Her expression seemed like she was.. longing for something or as if she had a distance look in her eyes as she looked at Yashiro. Her eyes seemed to get more dull by the second, and they even looked a bit sad if you looked close enough. Y/n let out a quiet sigh and glanced back up at Yashiro. " So.. Whats your name?" she asked absently, as if she didn't really want to know it. 

" Uhm.. i'm pretty sure I said that already.. heh-"  Suddenly the girl smiled and looked at her, eyes squinting as if she had something in her eye and she shook her head.  Ok, what exactly is she doing right now..? I'm so confused and what is Hanako doing- 

Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw what Hanako was doing. He was looking at the two with what seemed like.. a solemn expression? But why? Yashiro wondered. Yashiro couldn't take the awkwardness anymore and bowed. " S-sorry! I must be going now but.. it was very nice to meet you Akari Y/n!" Yashiro would usually offer to call her Akari-chan or something friendly like a nickname she had but something in her gut made her say her.. full name. 

" O-oh! Please, call me Akari-chan!" The girl waved her hands in front of her and smiled when Yashiro glanced up at her. " Oh, a-alright then!" Yashiro smiled back at her and got up. " Well I must be going now i'll see you guys tomorrow!" 

The door opened then closed as quickly as she came in and didn't bother to turn around. As soon as Yashiro walked out a couple steps, she let out a big sigh of.. relief? She couldn't exactly tell why she seemed so tense - no why everyone in that room seemed kind of tense.. even Hanako even if she didn't look at him much. 

Yashiro just shook it off and ran through the hallways, realizing something along the way. W-wait.. wasn't she supposed to be haunting these hallways right now? Why was she in Hanako's bathroom if she is the 8th wonder?  That's kinda strange.. 

¸,ø¤º°'°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º° 🎀 Third person 𝒫❁𝒱 🎀 °º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°'°º¤ø,¸

Y/n looked at the door that was shut too quickly. Shadows casting over her eyes once again as she looked down at the floor. She barely noticed Hanako calling her name as she looked up. Hanako actually looked.. concerned for a moment and she couldn't help but chuckle. 

" Whats your deal?" Y/n asked as Hanako blinked in confusion, then realized what she was teasing him about and he tilted his hat downward as if trying to hide his face. " I was just.. never mind-" He snickered. Hanako then glanced up at Y/n who had a distant look in her eyes as she spaced out. Hanako smirked and took this as an advantage. 

He slowly crept up to her and lifted his hands up, about to wrap his arms around her neck when she suddenly stopped him by grabbing his arm that coming down. He flinched and chuckled. " Well, well. Looks like you still got your sharp senses I see" Hanako teased. Y/n just smirked and looked at him, her bright eyes glowing with humor. 

" Or maybe I just keep my guard up around you because your a little pervert.." Y/n chuckled. Hanako dramatically put a hand over his heart and wiped away his fake tears. " Oh Y/n, why do you have to be so cruel to me! And.. I'm not a pervert-" Hanako glanced at Y/n with a mischievous smirk on his face. " - But i could be one for you if you like-"

He was cut off with an aggressive slap to his cheek, though it wasn't as hard as you would expect it. Hanako groaned in pain though as he caught himself before falling to the floor. " Don't... just don't do that again.. please" Y/n said darkly. Hanako rubbed the place where she slapped him and was surprised to see her smiling at him. 

To Hanako, Y/n had the most beautiful smile, and what brought it out was her eyes, but that was only the beginning of it. Her smile in general was the prettiest thing to look at and Hanako couldn't help but smile himself as the light from the window slowly casts itself on Y/n making her glow. 

" Cmon, stop staring pervert and lets go" Y/n chuckled. Hanako snorted and stood up. " I wasn't staring.." He mumbled. Y/n only scoffed. " Yea sure, let's go" She was about to open the door when Hanako interrupted her. " Hey.. why didn't you let Yashiro call you by your.. first name?" Hanako asked as if it were important somehow. 

Y/n clutched the door handle tightly and didn't look back up at him. " I think I should wait a little bit for that, it might be moving to fast for her.. and I don't want that just yet" She said simply. Hanako just sighed and put back on his hat, which was on the floor when Y/n smacked him. 

" Alright, if you say so Y/n.." Hanako muttered.
