Chapter 25: His Plan ( Cris )

CRIS

"Lily? Stand up."

But insted of standing up she cried and cried.

"Lily.. what happened?"

She looked at my eyes and then said. "Cris.. h-he already broke up with me.. Cris, I should get back to him.. I will say to him that what I said were only lies.. I don't want to broke up with him Cris.." she said as she stand up.

"Lily.. don't, wag mo ng saktan pa at pahirapan ang sarili mo."

"Cris.. mas lalo akong mahihirapan pag wala sya.. I can't live without him.."

She looked at me helplessly. Should I tell her? Should I tell her the real reason why Claide broke up with her?

"Lily.. he loves you.. trust me-"

"Why did he broke up with me then?"

"He have reasons Lily-"

"And what is that fcking reason Cris?-"

"He.. he wanted us to be safe Lily.."

She looked at me with her eyes fulled with confusion.

"W-what?"

I sighed. Wala ng atrasan to. "He already know who the killer is. And he suspects na kapag malapit tayo sa kanya ay tayo ang unahin nya."

"Don't tell me.."

"Yes, he drop out.."

"It can't be.. no it can't be, he.. he's leaving?"

"He isn't leaving. He won't leave until he finish what he started."

She wiped her tears. "Dalhin mo ako sa kanya."

"Lily-"

"I said dalhin mo ako sa kanya!"

I sighed. 'Hindi ko naman alam kung nasan sya ngayon.'  "Hindi ko alam kung nasaan sya Lily."

"Wag ka ng mag sinungaling, alam kong alam mo kung nasaan sya."

"Hindi ko nga alam, hahanapin ko palang sya Lily!" Napagtaasan ko sya ng boses. "I'm sorry.."

"Okay lang.."

"I'll promise, pag nakita ko sya, sasabihin ko agad sayo."

She only just nodded at umupo na uli sya.

"Totoo ba?"

"Ang ano?"

"Minahal nya ako? Na hindi nya yun pinlano? Hindi nya pinlano na minlove sya sa akin?"

"Believe me or not, minahal ka nya Lily, totoo din yung selos na naramdaman nya noong.. h-hinalkan kita."

She smiled weakly. "I don't know what to believe anymore Cris.. ang hirap.. ang hirap ng maniwala lalo na kung yung tiwalang yun ay nawala na ng tuluyan.." she said as a rear escaped her eyes again.

"Lily.. trust him this time.. believe him this time.. because I know that all of this.. this is all for you.. he said to you that he will give up everything just for you right? So.. trust him.."
