Chapter 14: Christmas break part 4

When I woke up I got dressed and went to the Great Hall for breakfast.

After breakfast I went back to my dorm.

I was reading on my bed when an owl came up to my window.

I opened the window and the owl gave me a letter.

Dear y/n,

I'm sorry for not writing you earlier but my mom passed away on Wednesday.
How is it to be a prefect? How is your holiday so far?

After I read it I ran to my desk and grabbed some parchment paper and ink.

Dear Cedric,

I'm so sorry to hear that. Are you okay? Do you want me to come over?
It is amazing to be a prefect. My holiday is great so far.

I gave it to the owl and said 'here, bring this back to Cedric will you.'

After I went to Draco's room.

'Hey, do you want to hang out?' I asked.

'Sure, do you want to go on a walk?' He asked.

'Okay.' I said and we went outside

Now I hear you asking yourself huh why? Y/n and Draco aren't even friends!

Well, actually Draco and I became close. Don't ask me how because I don't know it either.

'It's quite cold.' I said.

'Of course! It's winter silly.' Draco said.

'Child anyways so I just got some bad news.' I said.

'What's wrong?' Draco asked.

'Cedric's mom died Wednesday.' I said 'I just got his letter.'

'I'm sorry. When are you going?' He asked.

'What do you mean?' I asked.

'If my mother passed away I would want my girlfriend to come over, if I had one but that's not the point. He didn't asked you to come and visit him?' He asked.

'No but I did ask him if he wanted me to come. Is that bad?' I asked.

Draco POV

I'm so glad that y/n and I became close friends. Still I hope one day she'll be mine.

'No but I did ask him if he wanted me to come. Is that bad?' She asked.

He didn't ask her to come? Is he with another girl or something? This is weird. I thought by myself.
