"𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐍 knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out." Steve informed the people on the ship of the key thing they needed to do when on the mission. "All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."

After hearing Steve's speech through the comms, Lexie silenced them telling FRIDAY to notify her in her name was mentioned. To distract herself from her worry she checked up on Dr. Cho, calling the hospital she was currently at. The doctor informed Lexie of her recent research but Lexie steered the conversation away from her hand. As much as she wanted it fixed, now was not the time. It felt selfish of her to be thinking about herself at a time like this. There wasn't much to do considering it was too difficult to take her mind off of the others. FRIDAY soon told her that Natasha had been rescued by Bruce who was now the hulk. The first sign of good news. It didn't ease Lexie's mind though. She hated being so useless. They could all fight and protect people and she couldn't even do her job. After a while she got bored of sitting like a duck so she reached her hand forward and unmuted the comms, listening in. in the background there were the screams and shouting of nervous and scared people.

"Sokovia is going for a ride." FRIDAY announced, her voice being heard by Tony from his suit and Lexie from the building. Rolling her chair close to another desk which held a monitor she began to type away, pulling up a news channel from Sokovia. She gasped at the mass destruction that was being brought onto the country. She raised a hand to her mouth, taking a deep breath in. Lexie looked towards another screen which began to sound an alarm. She rolled towards it and began to read the information that was being displayed. Standing up she rushed over to the microphone she could speak into to talk to the others.

"Tony the vibranium core's got a magnetic field. That's what's keeping the rock - island - together." Lexie told her brother hurriedly.

"If it drops?" Lexie sighed in relief when she heard her brother respond.

"Well, as of at the moment, the impact could potentially, will probably, kill thousands." She stammered. "Once it gets high enough it would cause global extinction. Which result in everyone and everything being completely destroyed. Forget about the extinction of the Avengers - more like the distinction of Earth." She huffed, unable to process the magnitude of the threat Ultron held over them all. FRIDAY took over, giving Tony more information.

"Cap, you got incoming." Lexie faintly heard Tony tell Steve over the comms. Lexie felt relief wash over her body when she heard that Steve too was alright.

"Incoming already came in." A thankful sigh, followed by a laugh, flew from the young surgeon's mouth. "Oh my god," she muttered, stressfully laughing.

"Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed... walk it off." Lexie heard Steve tell the team.

"Dr. Stark, Dr. Cho has arrived on the helipad seeking your attention." FRIDAY announced over the speakers. With a confused frown she turned the comms back to mute and got up to greet the doctor. Helen had a pair of crutches keeping her steady but she seemed fine other than her limp which would heal over time.
