Better

I stopped on screaming
As I was drowning,
Knowing that people won't hear me,
They're busy arguing
Behind the smooth glass that light,
In their golden castles
Encrusted with diamond stars.

The water was suffocating,
But it felt better than wasting
Time with robots that spread lies,
Dripping with shadows
Darker than the night.

I choked on my own blood,
But it was a better kind of pain.
It's better than feeling the freezing rain
On my blue and violet skin.
