"she's actually not that bad at skating," vinnie admits. aaron just laughs and keeps his eyes on the screen.

they sat in the living room in vinnie's house, with eileen's new youtube video playing on the tv.

when they finished the video, aaron brought out his phone and mindlessly went to the facetime app. vinnie didn't bother to look, all he was thinking about was eileen.

on one hand, he wished he could make a time machine and go back in time and change everything. he wouldn't have pushed eileen away. he wouldn't have told the world he hadn't spoken to her. and he definitely wouldn't have kicked her out of his room that night.

but on the other hand, he had to remind himself that they were friends. things were better this way.

"yo, i just watched your video," aaron says and sends a smirk to eileen.

"oh wow. thanks. was kind of hoping to get a call from tony hawke after i uploaded it, but hey i guess i'm okay with you," she says. aaron laughs and vinnie looks over and looks at his phone. eileen is laid in her bed, talking to aaron.

"what are you doing?" she asks. aaron moves the camera and shows vinnie, who looked down at his phone right before he could see her.

"oh. hey vin," she says. vinnie looks up and she sends him a small grin. he just decides to act normal. even though on the inside he was freaking out because she called him vin.

"what's up. surprised you're talking to us considering you're the best skater in la now," he teases with a smirk. she just laughs it off and shrugs. "guess i could make time for you guys. you know, charity work."

"anyways, if you're not doing anything, you should come over," aaron suggests. vinnie didn't care honestly, he wished she would. maybe if he saw her, it would be less awkward, and it could start to feel like they were real friends.

"right now?" she asks. aaron nods, and shows the camera to vinnie again. "hey, we might be going to the skate park, so bring your board."

she nods, and they both see her getting up off her bed. "alright. i'll head over now."

they all say bye, and she hangs up. aaron looks at his phone before glancing up at vinnie.

"does it bother you, that like, me and eileen talk?" he asks. though vinnie wanted to say yeah, he just sends a reassuring smile and shakes his head. "of course not. im happy for you guys."
