RivalCrush Shipping is the pairing between Gary Oak and Serena.
I don't mind the jock/jerk falls in love with the shy girl trope in general. I consider myself to be a bit of a shy guy(as I hinted at when I answered the tag questions). It's not a cliche in my opinion and often times can work really well.
However, I don't like it with this pairing. I don't think Serena would realistically go after Gary and I think Gary fits better with say Misty, Lillie or someone else (I've seen some pair Miette and Gary together which I am neutral on).
Serena clearly has feelings for Ash and whether or not Ash does in return is another matter which isn't related to this ship rating.
I do not however, have any hatred towards this shipping and I don't believe anyone's a total tool for supporting this shipping. I just don't think it will happen. We don't know if they have ever met anyways.
Who frigging knows, GARY COULD BE GAY?! (Nothing's wrong with someone being gay tho)
So to summarise I don't like this shipping but it's aight I guess.
