seungcheol tapped the whiteboard with his marker. "will you two shut up? i said good ideas, not gay ones."
the counselors had gathered in the cafeteria, exchanging ideas for what activities they would do at camp for the next week.
"how is challenging you guys to a mudfight gay?"
"you're yoon jeonghan. every single thing you do is gay," jihoon said.
"i suggest we just go to the forest and play," seokmin suggested.
"yeah! i could finally channel my inner snow white!" soonyoung fist-pumped the air.
"are you two crazy? no one in their right mind would want to go in there," jihoon slammed his hand on the table.
"i would," jisoo quietly said.
"if jisoo's going in there, so am i. i saw a nice cave when we were coming here–" jeonghan giggled.
"i think that's a good idea," seungcheol cut jeonghan off. "we can scour the forest and maybe find some nice areas to play games. forest tag doesn't sound too bad."
"maybe we could use those paintball guns and set up a target! i vote mingyu," seokmin said.
"i appreciate your enthusiasm, seok, but maybe a little less violent is the key?" seungcheol grimaced.
"i'm sorry, have you been around twelve year olds? my sister is ruthless. she ripped all her barbies' heads off and is now making a franken-doll."
"i guess she inherits it from the one and only," jisoo rolled his eyes.
"so, are we decided?" seungcheol sighed, trying to divert the topic back to their plans.
"no," jihoon grumbled.
"yes," the other four said in unison.
"perfect. let's head there right now."

"why did we have to come all the way in here? couldn't you have taken someone and gone yourself?"
"you know i would've taken you anyways, ji. jeonghan, soonyoung and seokmin are all shitheads and jisoo's the only one who can somewhat handle them."
"then why didn't you take him? i could handle them too you know."
"i find that hard to believe," seungcheol cracked a smile.
"look what i found!" soonyoung yelled from ahead, crouching near a tree stump.
"what did you find?" seokmin asked, slipping away.
"seokmin! i told you, you weren't supposed to let go of my hand at any cost!" jisoo yelled, running after him.
"why the fuck are you holding a squirrel?" jeonghan asked.
"say hi to your new godchild!" soonyoung shoved the squirrel into jeonghan's face.
jeonghan blinked, then his eyes twinkled, filling with love.
"me? godfather?"
"oh, for fuck's sake," jisoo groaned. "i did not leave sunday school for this."
"you can be godfather too," seokmin smacked jisoo on the back.
"no thank you. i'd rather die than co-godparent a rodent with a reptile."
"you voiced out my thoughts exactly! thank you, jisoo. now i don't have to deal with those circumstances," jeonghan beamed, cradling the squirrel in his hands.
