"seokmin? i think seungkwan's sad."
seokmin looked up from bandaging his bruises and gave hansol a skeptical look. "you don't say? he looks constipated to me."
"oh shut up," hansol frowned. "you all tease him too much. i don't like seeing him sulky."
seokmin momentarily stopped, suddenly adopting a guilty expression. "oh. yeah. yeah, we're too harsh on him."
"what did you even do? he doesn't warrant any of this behaviour, you know?"
seokmin felt a bit foolish for being scolded by someone younger than him. no less, his favourite dongsaeng.
"well, he was being a bit stuck-up about volleyball earlier so we just chased him away. looking back on it now, he was just trying to help."
hansol shook his head.
"i want to cheer him up," hansol fiddled with his fingers.
he looked over to seungkwan, who was curled up soundly under hansol's blankets. murmuring something about having fought with mingyu, he'd come to colonise the yellow cabin, and hansol couldn't ever find it in his heart to turn him away.
he was down so bad for this boy.
"what do you wanna do? i'll help you out," seokmin hummed.
hansol stared at seokmin. something in him, maybe the covert selfish part of him, wanted the feeling of seeing seungkwan smile all to himself. he fixated on seokmin's wrist, purple blooming out the edges of his badly-wrapped bandage.
"oh hyung, yikes. that looks terrible. maybe you should stay out of this for now," he apologetically shook his head.
"i'll have shua hyung wrap it properly for me, then i'll be fine," seokmin said. "it's no biggie."
"no—i really think you should rest," hansol tried persuading.
"could you guys maybe not yell at each other?" seungkwan's muffled voice came from under the blanket, startling both of them. "i'm trying to sleep!"
"be glad we gave you access to our cabin," seokmin chided, before instantly being shut down by hansol.
"no—kwannie, you can stay," he took to pushing the boy down gently. "sleep."
"sure? i'm not just trespassing in your cabin?"
"no," hansol answered resolutely, glaring at seokmin.
"i don't want to trouble you."
"i don't know about everyone else, but you never trouble me. so you can have my bed."
seungkwan melted at the sweet gesture, hiding his face in the blankets.
"yeah, sollie. good night," he snickered.
hansol watched his lover drift into sleep, proceeding to then chew out seokmin.
"safe to say that you are not helping me out with my program."
