"i swear to god, lee seokmin, touch that ukulele one more time and i'll end you," seungkwan huffed, placing his hands on his hips.
seokmin pouted a bit. "but i want to play."
"not a huge problem, it's just that the uke belongs to jihoon," jisoo pointed out, wincing at seokmin.
"that is a huge problem. a colossal one, really," seungkwan said.
seokmin immediately shoved the instrument into jisoo's arms, his own hands behind his back. "i never touched that!"
"guys, have you seen my—there it is."
jisoo smiled as he held out the ukulele to jihoon. "i held onto it for you."
"thanks, hyung. you're the only person i can trust with it," jihoon carefully caressed the ukulele's frame. "no one else would understand how special this is."
"hypothetically, since i'm learning too—" seokmin started, earning a skeptical look from jihoon, "—i'm allowed with it too?"
"in your dreams," jihoon cackled, perching on a stool as seokmin pouted at him.
"who brought that thing in?" seungkwan shrieked, noticing the stool.
jisoo stared at him, perplexed. "i think hansol did? but why, is there a problem?"
upon hearing his boyfriend's name, seungkwan visibly relaxed. "i told that idiot not to bring outside furniture into a blanket fort." he faced jisoo. "can you go check if he's planning on bringing anything else in here? i swear that boy's always in a world of his own. what he's so distracted by, i don't get."
"maybe he got distracted by your visual," jisoo slyly commented, causing seungkwan to deeply blush as he swatted him away.
"what? he says so himself. he loses his train of thought around you. adorable, if you ask me."
"he does? i-i mean, of course he does. have you seen me?" seungkwan stuttered, which was terribly embarrassing for him.
"sure. not to mention all the pet names he uses when he talks about you. which is always, by the way. honey, darling, baby, sugarpie—" seokmin continued.
"and you're here telling me all this? he'd probably stop telling you if he found out," seungkwan muttered, stacking up pillows.
"he's probably wishing we'd come and tell you. he gets terribly shy when it comes to you, you know?" seokmin added, reclining into a mattress.
"classic chwe hansol," seungkwan tried to laugh it off, but truth was, the revelation had him feeling all sorts of emotions and he doubted showing them to his hyungs was a good idea.
"well, if you need any help, i'll be over at the cafe," jisoo waved. "as much as i trust gyu, i don't think leaving him without supervision with sharp objects and open fire is a good idea."
"while you're at it, can you whip up cookies?" seokmin asked.
"sure. anything else?"
"send hansol over. i need him," seungkwan added.
"oooh," seokmin waggled his eyebrows.
"shut up. he's going to be ten times more useful than you are, mr i-told-you-to-lay-blankets-around seokmin," seungkwan huffed.
"why are you even doing so much?"
"it's karaoke night. everyone should be comfortable tonight, no exceptions. so get off slacking and do your bit."
"i respect hansol so much for being able to deal with you," seokmin shook his head, picking up a blanket.
"maybe seungkwan just doesn't like you," jihoon mumbled, apparently tuning his ukulele for the 100th time.
