Alexander's POV
"Pa!"
Phillip barged into my office rambling on about something.
"Slow down. What do you need?"
"I need advice. I challenged George Eacker to a duel."
He did what now?!
"Phillip-"
"I know it was irresponsible, but what do I do?"
"Well you can't afford to kill him-"
I paused for a moment to think.
Normally in this situation you'd aim at the sky. But Eacker isn't a man of honor so he won't follow suit.
Wait- That's IT!
"Aim at his feet."
"Wha-?"
"Normally you'd aim at the sky, but in this case that's a bad idea. Aim at his feet. That way you won't kill him with the shot, just injure him."
He nodded.
Phillip's POV
After speaking with my father I ran to Theo's house. I knocked on the door and she answered.
"Hey Phillip."
"He Theo. I have to go somewhere but I need to ask you something when I get back ok?
She raised an eyebrow. "Ok?"
I pulled her in to a kiss. "Love you."
"Love you too."
And with that I grabbed what I needed and went to meet George for the duel.
