𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐋 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 in the cafe as there was nobody coming in,

But then again it was the middle of the day in the middle of the week so there wasn't too much that she could expect.

"Oh John, what can I get for you?" It took her by surprise as John hadn't been at the cafe since before they went on their date,

"I just wanted to know if you had a break anytime soon, I need to talk to you." John tried to remain calm as the last thing he wanted was to offset her.

"I could take a break right now if you'd like?" Abigail offered as the boy nodded,

"Do you want a coffee though? It's always nice over a chat," she added causing him to laugh.

"Yeah sure," the footballer smiled as he watched the girl start working,

"You okay, you seem pretty stressed?" The barista pointed out as she took her attention off of the frothier for a moment.

"I'm good," the brunette smiled causing the blonde to get back to work and not question him again.

Abigail and John walked to the booth as the boy let out a sigh,

It was finally time for him to tell her something that could ruin her relationship with Scott.

"So before I do say anything this is something that you may not really want to know it's just that if I was in your position-" John rambled on causing the girl to reach over and place her hand on his,

"Just calm down and tell me, I'm a big girl John. I can handle it," Abigail would be lying if she said that she wasn't growing worried by his words,

"I never meant to tell you that I would we would be better as friends," the footballer let out a sigh as he held on the cup,

"What do you mean?" The barista cocked her head wondering what he meant,

"The night after Scott came over to mine and told me all about how you didn't need me and nor did you want me," the brunette didn't know how she was going to take it,

But all he knew was that he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he didn't bring it up to Abigail.

"I know it's stupid but I believed him because he's your best friend so why wouldn't he know best." He added as the girl rubbed her eye,

"Why are you telling me this?" The blonde asked as she nervously chewed the inside of her lip,

"Because you said that you had never gotten past the first date because they all decided that they weren't interested, so it got me thinking how many times has Scott done this?" John knew that if it happened once then it could have happened many more times before that.

Everything finally made sense to Abigail,

"I'm really sorry John but I have to get going," Abigail got up as she untied her apron,

"No worries," the footballer sent her a wave releasing that he had to get back to his house as Harry was meant to be coming over later,

"Can you cover me for the rest of the day please?" The blonde asked Julia who nodded from behind the counter,

"Yeah sure," Julia smiled not having a clue what her friend was going to do but it seemed really important.

As Abigail made her way into the Aon training complex all she could see was red,

And not because it was Manchester United's training ground,

"Hey baby," Scott smiled as he watched the girl walk over to him,

"Bad day?" He added since she pulled him into the physio's room letting the door shut with a slam.

"Fuck you," Abigail spat having no time for hearing him out,

"What?" The footballer asked hoping that he hadn't just heard her correctly,

"How many?" The barista clenched her fists as all she wanted to do was hit the boy,

"Baby I'm confused," the Scot cocked his head as he tried to figure out what on earth she meant,

"Firstly don't baby me, and secondly how many of the boys that I have liked have you fucked with." The German rolled her eyes not noticing that Scott was finally catching on,

"And don't you dare say zero because we both know that it's bullshit," she added pointing her finger at him,

"Did John fucking tell you that?" Scott let out a groan as he pinched the bridge of his nose,

"I told you that he is bad news." He added reaching his hand out to the girl,

"I'm starting to think that you're bad news," Abigail took a step back not baring being near the boy,

"What's that supposed to mean," the footballer felt his heartbreak as the girl didn't want to be close to him,

"You know exactly what it is supposed to mean, and until you fucking admit it I'm leaving." The barista impulsively decided that she was having none of it and that it would be better if she left.

"Where would you even go?" The Scottish boy almost sounded amused as the girl sent him a glare,

"As far away from your lying ass," it meant that she was going to the only place where she already had a cupboard of her clothes,

Harlow Atkinson's house.

"And Scott one more thing, don't contact me until you understand why I'm upset." She added sending the boy one final look before walking off leaving him to think about what he had done.

"Come on man," Dan placed his hand on his friend's shoulder as they walked back to the training ground.
