𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐓𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐒𝐓 of getting ready for a match day morning workout when he saw Abigail was busy having a laugh in the gym that sat in their basement,

She was singing along to Express from the movie Burlesque as she tried to follow along with the moves,

Her style of dance seemed to be stopping every few moments to let herself have a laugh.

The song came to an end and Abigail landed on the ground with a gasp,

"You having fun?" Scott leaned up against the door frame as the girl whipped around,

"You bet," Abigail smiled as she got back up hearing a new song start,

"Come on, it's our favourite," she added holding her hands out for the boy to grab,

"Fine," the footballer let out a groan as the girl was distracting him from his workout,

'Let's get married' seemed to be their favourite song and neither person could ever question it.

Abigail was now stood in the kitchen as she tried to reach the blender,

"Scott you bastard!" Abigail groaned as she realised she would have to climb onto the counter's to reach it,

"What have I done this time? Scott asked as he walked into the kitchen to see the girl living out her dreams of being Tarzan,

"Let's not do that," he added placing his hands on her waist to pull her down to the ground.

"I want the blender," the barista pouted as she pointed up to the black blender,

"Here then," the footballers reached up and placed it on the table in front of her.

"I'm getting myself a step stool if you keep placing things up there," the younger Scot mumbled as she sent the boy a glare,

"But then what good would I be?" The older Scot asked as he placed his hand on his chest,

"There's the point," Abigail smirked causing the boy to scoff,

"You bitch," Scott sent her a glare as she turned around to face him,

"I said what I said," the girl shrugged finding the conversation amusing,

"Come here you," with one quick movement Scott was standing up and Abigail had been thrown over his shoulder,

"Scott!" The barista let out a squeal as she tried to find something to grab onto to stop herself from landing head first on the ground,

"Don't you dare drop me!" She added realising that she was now hugging his waist.

"What was that drop you?" Scott teased as he loosened his grip for a split second,

"You better watch it if you want to play tonight," Abigail warned as she tightened her grip around his waist not wanting to hit the ground any time soon.

Abigail grinned as she walked through Old Trafford,

"Scott!" Abigail smiled as she wrapped her arms around the older boy,

"You played so well," she added as she looked up to him,

"Thank you," Scott felt like he could and would never get used to seeing her wearing his shirt,

"You like the new kit aye?" The barista joked as she gave him a spin,

The last time she got a kit was when he first moved up to the first team,

And it took a lot of convincing for her to get a new shirt,

But eventually, she did and it looked great on her.

"You like a million bucks," the footballer let out a chuckle not noticing the looks they were getting from his teammates,

"Oi Scott!" 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐒 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐃 called out causing both Scots to turn around,

"I'll be back in a moment," Scott sent the girl a soft smile as she nodded,

"Take your time, I can make some friends." Abigail joked as she watched him walk off,

"Abigail hey!" 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 smiled as he watched the girl wander over,

"Hiya," the duo had met in the early months of 2020 and instantly clicked,

"This may sound really weird but umm I was wondering if you were free like next week sometime?" The footballer asked deciding that it was time for him to just go for it.

"I'm mid-week if that works?" The barista proposed as the boy smiled,

"It's a date," he nodded causing the girl to feel flutters in her stomach,

It caused her to double-take at the wave of butterflies she had just gotten,

And that was because there was only one other person that ever made her feel like that.

"Abby," Scott walked back to see the duo smiling about something,

"I gotta go, but I'll see you soon?" Abigail smiled at the defender who nodded before watching the girl walk back to Scott,

"What was that about?" The United player asked as he wrapped his arm around the girl's shoulder,

"I was busy making friends." The barista smiled as they walked off to the exit.
