𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐋 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 in the cafe as she continued her shift,

"Good morning!" Abigail smiled as the boys walked in from their training session,

"It's actually the afternoon," Dan teased the girl as she rolled her eyes,

"Do you want me to serve you or not?" The girl warned as she was pulled into a hug,

"Best friend," the Welshman smiled,

"What are you guys doing here anyway?" The barista asked seeing that there were five guys,

"We wanted some food," Scott explained as the girl nodded,

"So what can I make you all?" Abigail smiled as she looked at the boys,

"What's on the menu?" 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗 asked curiously as he had never been there before.

"Everything up there," the girl motioned up to the chalkboards,

"Let's go look at them," the boys left Scott and Abigail alone,

"How are you feeling?" Scott asked as he didn't know if the girl was still dwelling on what John said to her,

"I'm good, I was thinking of driving to see Harlow," the girl had come up with the idea as she wanted to go and visit her childhood best friend.

"That may be good for you," the boy nodded as he pulled her in for a hug,

"I'll drop you off at the train station later then?" He added

"Yeah," she nodded with a smile,

There was something really awkward between the two and Abigail didn't know why.

Abigail arrived in Birmingham and she was somehow talked into joining the Villa players,

"I don't know any of the boys," Abigail groaned as they walked into the restaurant,

"You know John, and you can meet the rest of them soon," Harlow shrugged as they found the group,

"Abigail!" 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗠𝗖𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗡 gasped as he saw the girl,

"What'd we miss?" 𝗝𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛 whispered wondering why the girl was there,

"Guys meet Abigail," Harlow smiled as the girls slid into the booth,

"As in best friend Abigail?" 𝗧𝗬𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 asked curiously as he had heard so much about the girl but never knew what she looked like.

"Depends, what has Harlow said about me," the girl felt her eyes go wide as she got nervous,

"That you and Scott are madly in love and need to get together," John whispered to her causing her to roll her eyes at him.

"Shut up," she mumbled back as she softly kicked his leg.

Scott was sat in the gym working out when Abigail arrived back,

She didn't want to stay the night when she knew that Scott would be alone,

"You're back?" Scott asked curiously as he stopped his workout for a moment noticing her presence,

"Yeah, I couldn't be having you going to sleep alone," Abigail teased as she placed her bag down on the ground,

"But what are you doing here?" The boys asked as he got up from the bench,

"Well I could hear the music from upstairs," she motioned to the first floor of the house causing the boy to look away guiltily,

"Sorry about that," the footballer apologised as the girl shook her head,

"No worries," the barista smiled as she kept her distance from the boy,

He reeked from sweat.

"So how is everyone," Scott asked letting out a laugh seeing what the girl was doing,

"They're all good, John still has that silly idea in his head." Abigail giggled remembering the first time they met John,

"The one about us getting married and living in a castle?" It started as a joke but then he ended up believing it.

"Yeah, that one." The girl nodded as the boy got an idea,

"Do you want to do the rest of the workout with me?" The footballer offered as he scratched the back of his neck.

Abigail let out a groan as Scott tried to help her with the workout,

"Just relax your legs," Scott was stood in front of the girl as he rested his hands on her thighs,

"Why in gods name did I agree to this?" Abigail groaned as she landed on her bum,

"You okay?" The footballer asked worriedly as the girl let out a laugh,

"My arse is sore," she groaned as she got back up on her feet,

Dusting her bum off in the process.

"Ow, you bastard!" She added as Scott hit her arse.

"You set me up for that," he shrugged with a cocky grin,

A few years ago they started this joke at actually came around when Scott was leaning over to grab something Abigail hit his bum with the statement 'you set me up for that'.

"Are you free for New Years?" Scott asked changing the subject,

"Of course I am," Abigail nodded as she spoke in a duh tone.

"Marcus has invited us to his New Years party, do you want to go?" It always worked that they were a package deal.
