𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐄 for a walk since Scott was off to training,

So it was really the only time that she would be able to get out of the house.

"Hi Abigail," John called out as he saw the girl walking around the city,

"Oh hi John," Abigail smiled as she turned around and was faced with the boy,

"What happened to your foot?" The footballer quickly turned concerned as he hugged the girl before noticing the boot on her foot.

"I just hurt it," the barista brushed it off as she sent the older boy a smile as they started the walk again.

"I get it off in like a week," she quickly added as the boy nodded,

"Well that's good," he smiled as there was an awkward cloud over the duo,

There was just that topic that they both seemed to be avoiding.

"Thanks for telling me about the whole Scott thing by the way," the blonde finally decided that she should bring it up as they would talk about it eventually.

"We've spoken and sorted it all out." She quickly added as she looked up to the boy,

"Well congrats then," the brunette smiled at the girl but he couldn't help but feel annoyed or angered that the girl brushed it over,

But then again he didn't know why she had agreed to forgive him.

"Thank you," Abigail pulled her hood further up as it grew colder with a gust of wind hitting the duo,

"Does he make you happy?" John chewed the inside of his out

"There is never a dull moment with him." The girl smiled as she tugged on her necklace before turning to the boy,

"Do you want to get a bite to eat, I'm starving?" She asked the boy who quickly nodded.

John and Abigail were sat in a McDonald's booth as they caught up,

The relationship seemed to have turned into a friendship and they both seemed to be okay with that.

"So how have you been?" John asked curiously as he watched the girl sip her milkshake,

"I've been really good," Abigail smiled as she looked up from her food to see the boy already looking at her.

"I went back up to Scotland for a bit, and then yeah." She added as she fiddled with her rings before remembering the games she had watched,

"Congrats on the goal by the way," the blonde smiled catching the boy off by surprise,

"It was actually two," the footballer didn't even catch the way that he had responded to her and actually didn't want to sound cocky,

But it was a bit too late for that.

"My apologies Stones," the barista, fortunately, found the amusing side of it and let out a laugh,

"You better be," he joked causing the girl to smile,

"They were two good goals," the blonde pointed out taking the boy by surprise,

"They were?" The brunette asked assuming that she hadn't seen the game.

Abigail arrived home letting the door quietly close behind her,

"Hi love," Abigail smiled as she walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him,

"Oh hey baby," Scott jumped as she scared him but then he quickly grew calm realising who it was.

"What did I miss?" The barista asked curiously as the boy turned to face her,

"Nothing much," the footballer mumbled as he placed a soft peck on the girl's lips,

"I was just about to have some of the boys over," he added motioning to the bowls of food that were sat on the main table,

"For a game?" She asked as the boy shook his head,

"Nah just to chill." He explained causing the girl to nod,

"Scott McTominay you do nothing but not chill," Abigail furrowed her eyebrow knowing that he was hiding something.

"Are you okay?" She quickly added placing her hand on his cheek.

"Yeah I'm great," Scott sent the girl a smile hoping that she wouldn't catch on to anything.

"Well I am going to sleep," the girl let out a yawn as she decided that she was going to take a nap,

"I'll see you when you wake up then," the boy awkwardly smiled as he waved the girl off,

"Goodnight love." He quickly added before he got back to whatever scheme he was planning.
