JANE
🦋

I felt a hand gliding softly across my cheek. I quietly groaned, rubbing my eyes from my deep slumber.

"Wake up sleepyhead. We're here." Luca appeared in my sight, making me smile in content.

I took a hold of his strong hand and noticed that the guards were putting in our last suitcases as we got to the exit of the jet. I couldn't help but gasp at the sight before me.

It was a beautiful landscape filled with lucious green grass. As well as spectacular views of mountain scenery. There was a village nearby that looked prosperous. Houses with terracotta roofs and off white walls all nestled together forming a big loop.

"I take it that you like what you see." I looked at him with a huge smile on my face and he seemed amused by my reaction.

"I never knew such a place like this could exist. It only existed in my world to be honest."

Luca placed his arm around my waist and whispered softly into my ear.

"You mean our world now." I smiled, he knows just what to say to make my heart flutter.

"Come, our adventure awaits!" I laughed at his silliness as we descended down the stairs of the jet.

We got into the car, driving to our next destination.

"You're going to love the place where we'll be staying." I turned around to see him place a kiss on my hand.

"Well, as long as I get to have my own room." I couldn't help but give him a mischievous smile.

He traced the line of my lips with his thumb.

"Keep dreaming papillion."

We finally arrived and I was in awe. It was an enormous house; more like a mansion with beautifully landscaped gardens. So many windows that I lost count.

I kept asking myself if I'm dreaming or not

I kept asking myself if I'm dreaming or not. But when I felt Luca's hand tightly wrapped around mine, I knew that this is real.

"Do you love it, papillon?" I looked at him, excitement surging through my body.

"It's beautiful! I just can't believe that we'll be staying here for a while." Luca's smile faltered a little.

"Do you want to stay here? This can become our permanent home." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

He wants me to live here with him? We've been only going out for two months. I may have deep feelings for Luca but its a bit too extreme for me. Not to mention we're in a different country, far away from my comfort zone.

He gripped my hand tightly but not to the point where it hurts, he stared deeply into my eyes with anticipation.

"I-I don't know." Disappointment was written across his face.
