the next few days was me being a paranoid little shit. I jumped for the smallest things and I didn't really do much

news reporter: Leo Hagashi, son of the murderer, Izaya Hagashi, was found in a river and was Pronounced dead. police are calling it a homicide and are investigating all homes in the near by area. no evidence has been found yet but further investigation will be going on.

my heart felt like it hit my ass.

news reporter: here's a clip of Leo's mother, Mika Hagashi, who had some words.

mika: I didn't even know he was going out, when I got home he wasn't there and I assumed he had just gone to the park but when he didn't come home I knew something was wrong

I couldn't stand it, I took my cereal to my room and locked myself in.

y/n: no evidence.. okay..

I was trying to keep calm but suddenly i was engulfed with fear and panic as my body began to fade. In this moment my mind was full of clarity, but my body insisted it was in danger. i looked around and I told myself I was safe, I was fine they weren't going to find anything because there WAS nothing to find, but I was convinced that something was wrong. before i knew it I felt as though I was going to fall and fade away. my body grew weak and soon enough, I found myself on the ground. I heard a knock on the door and ran to the living room to see who it was

todoroki: hey grandpa
grandpa: hello shoto! come on in I think y/n is in the room
todoroki: thank you

he took his shoes off and walked to the room. I popped out from the corner

todoroki: oh hey I-

I grabbed his arm and dragged him into the room

todoroki: I was heading this way, no need to man handle me- hey.. are you okay?
y/n: shoto I... I.. leo..
todoroki: oh yeah I heard the news before coming over but why are you...

I stared at him and he saw the fear in my eyes, he stepped back and his eyes widened

todoroki: y/n... did you..

I grabbed my chest and cried. todoroki sat on the bed with a blank expression on his face

y/n: todoroki listen to me, okay just listen to me please!

he hesitated for a while but then he slithered down to sit in front of me. I explained everything that had happened and by the end of it he was looking down

y/n: what I did was wrong I know but I need you to promise me you won't rat me out-
todoroki: you're my best friend, and I get why you do what you did..
y/n: ...
todoroki: everything is going to be alright, they haven't found anything.. you didn't leave anything behind did you?
y/n: no, I took care of everything
todoroki: ..the only thing is.. they're probably going to come knocking-

as soon as he said that we heard the doorbell ring. we both looked at the door. i started breathing heavily and he grabbed my by the shoulders

todoroki: okay calm down! they're probably going to want to talk to us so calm down and act like you don't know anything.
y/n: what if they know it was our treehouse!
todoroki: that doesn't matter, as far as they know it's just a coincidence

I patted my eyes down and washed my face in the bathroom in the room. he helped me calm down and soon enough there was a knock on the door. we were pretending to play a board game and they came in. we looked confused and the police officers squatted down and each of them took us to different sides of the room

officer: hey buddy, how are you?
y/n: i'm good! you?

officer: well im not doing too good right now
y/n: you know, when in having a bad day I eat some ice cream and then I feel better!
officer: really? i'll keep that in mind for later

he chuckled

officer: so i'm here to ask you some questions, is that okay?
y/n: sure! what about?
officer: unfortunately a kid around your age, was murdered in the woods behind here, his name was Leo Hagashi, do you know him?
y/n: Hagashi... yeah.. well I don't now him but I know his father
officer: oh? how?
y/n: um.. he killed my mom last year..

he wrote something down in his notepad, they asked a verity of questions and I handled them pretty well. no suspicion, till they came to that one question

officer: alright let's see here umm... do you.. have a treehouse near here?

my heart skipped a beat but I didn't break character

y/n: yeah! my best friend and I built it ourselves! pretty cool right? but... how'd you know?
officer: ...well you see the murder was commuted pretty close to your tree house, maybe even right below it..

am I going to have to commit another homicide? this officer better not suspect me.

officer: just.. be careful alright? they might still be hanging around the area so I advise you and your friend to not go near till we catch them, alright?
y/n: oh.. yeah okay, I understand

they ended it there and left after a while. the door closed and I had never felt more relieved in my 5 years of life. another few months passed by and they still had no leads.

news reporter: Leo Hagashi's case has officially been dropped, police investigators and deputy commissioner of the FBI have pronounced the case as "unsolved"

seriously? I mean that's great for me but, seriously? they can find top tier PROFESSIONAL murderers but can't solve a murder a CHILD committed? I might just turn myself in out of pity. years went by and I was completely in the clear.. or so I thought.

why did this take my the whole day🧍🏻‍♀️my eyebags and dark circles are on x games mode right now
