you went back to your dorm and you were sitting on your bed contemplating texting bakugo. you were biting your nails and just staring at your phone, bouncing your leg up and down.

y/n: I should just text him.. should I? nah.. well.. UGH

you shoved your face in your pillow and groaned. you ended up putting your pride away and just called him

bakugo: what's up?
y/n: hey babe um..
bakugo: is something wrong?
y/n: well no.. I just miss you-
bakugo: okay well im doing something right now and I can't talk, i'll see you tomorrow?
y/n: um... y-yeah sure-
bakugo: alright, bye princess
woman: bakugo-

you heard a woman in the back shout his name in the background right before the call ended and your heart sunk

y/n: ...okay y/n, let's not jump to conclusions here. maybe he's just helping out his mom at home...

you had remembered that he told you his parents went on a work trip and wouldn't be back till next week

y/n: okay... it was probably nothing.. yeah haha..

you nervously laughed and your leg was now bouncing like crazy. you threw on your hoodie again and went to the roof to think and clear your head. you opened the door to the roof and sat on the edge admiring the street lights and the stars.

y/n: i'm trusting you... please don't let me down

you couldn't help but think about the things bakugo might be doing behind your back and you sighed

hawks: don't worry I won't drop ya this time

you jumped a bit and crawled back until you noticed it was hawks

y/n: can you NOT scare me
hawks: sorry, kid

he said, sitting down next to you

hawks: hows it going? did you resolve the problem from last time?

you looked at him and chuckled

y/n: yeah, yeah I uh — I did
hawks: woohoo! go you! I knew you could do it
y/n: was that before or after you almost dropped off of a building?
hawks: definitely before
y/n: yeah? why's that

you said, laughing

hawks: because I thought you were going to.. you know.. splat

you both laughed

hawks: so what is it this time?
y/n: mmm nothing
hawks: you are so bad at lying, kid
y/n: i'm not lying!
hawks: okay, so it has nothing to do with the date that's coming up?
y/n: ...
hawks: mmm there it is
y/n: I hate you
hawks: yes! take your anger out on the poor bird man!

you laughed and lightly pushed his shoulder

y/n: I would be lying if I said that was the only reason though
hawks: oh?
y/n: it's just.. boy problems
hawks: ew boys

you laughed

hawks: so who's your victim- oops I mean boyfriend
y/n: okay 1, fuck you. 2... bakugo
hawks: ouuu! I heard he's real hot headed
y/n: yeah I guess so but, he's not so bad.. at least I hope not..

you hunched and put your hands together looking over the city. hawks extended his wing and scooted you closer to him

y/n: oh this is nice, I like this. how much for your feathers?
hawks: sorry kid, I kinda need these babies to save people
y/n: save or drop
hawks: you just can't let that go, can you
y/n: no, but you certainly can
