Heal the broken

Twenty-one

The next morning mr larusso picked johnny and I up from our house. Today was the day we would go get robby back. I was so nervous to see him and I was still a little upset with him but I still loved him and i don't know if I'll ever want him fully back in my life but that doesn't mean I don't want him to be okay.

We were on this like run down road in the middle of no where and daniels tracker started going off

"He's around here" daniel says stopping the car as we get out

We all fan out a little bit but the area we were in was so open I could still see everyone. I twist my ankle on something while I'm walking making me fall right on ass

"Easton you okay?" Johnny yells

"Yeah fine!" I say looking at what I had tripped over

Uh oh I think to myself

"HEY OVER HERE" I say and they walk over to me

"Look" I say holding up the tracker. Robby must of thrown it out of the car. Of course he knew there were trackers he literally worked there

"I shouldve known" daniel says taking the tracker back.

"Okay well... we should probably just go home. I can have my team look at the tracker and try to figure out any other leads" daniel says.

I was a little disappointed but he was right we were at a dead end and there was no point in just running around in circles

I fell asleep in the back of daniels car but am shaken awake by johnny

"Kid were at a gas station you want anything" he says looking back at me

"No I'm okay" I say

Johnny walks into the store getting some food while daniel pumps gas. I try to fall back asleep when a loud screeching sound was made and I open my eyes to the exact car robby had taken

"Daniel" I say opening my door but when I look at him he already knew what I was going to say

"HEY" he yells walking over to the guy which annoyed me. The guy just got back in the car but if we had played it cool we would of had more time. Instead johnny and daniel both hopped in the car and chased after them

We ended up at this abandoned ish car shop and the guy hopped out running inside. We all followed and were met with some stares until another one of the guys comes out from the back with the guy who drove the car

Suddenly they were all throwing punches at us and I could hold my own but they were much bigger than me that I could only protect myself not make them back off

One of them took a led pipe to my head hitting me repeatedly and managed to bust open the scar on my arm that had almost been done healing. I was on the ground groaning in pain as he kept beating on me with the pipe. The last thing I saw was johnny pulling the guy away and daniels face over mine and then my eyes went blank.

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. The only sound was the beeping from the machine making sure my heart rate didn't go any higher.

"What's going on" i say groggily.

"Were at the hospital... that guy did a real number to ya. Your arm scar bursted back open and he broke your nose. He also some how managed to damage your lung as well." Johnny says from beside me

I try to move to get a look at him but quickly stop once I feel a sharp pain in my side.

"Hey don't move your lung took a hard beating. Any wrong movement and you could stop breathing" he says. And I just nod staying in my place.
