The next day hawk picked Miguel and i up for school. Even though we're juniors and should be able to drive neither of our parents have enough money to get us a car. Eli on the other hand has had a car before he even had his license and he's kind enough to take miguel and i to school every day

"What's up what's up" eli says as i hop in the passenger seat next to him and miguel does the same in the back

" a bunch of 8th graders are coming and touring the school today" miguel says on our way to school

"Really? How do you know" eli asks

"Sams brother Anthony told me last night. Should be interesting seeing the kids who will be freshman next year" miguel says

"I can't believe we'll be seniors next year" i say in disbelief

"Do you guys know where you're going to college" miguel asks I could tell he wanted us to say no since he had no idea where he would end up.

"I'm probably gonna go to usc or ucla" eli says

"I have no clue, I don't even know if I can go to college" i say

"What?" Eli asks

"I mean i don't exactly have a college fund" i say laughing a bit

"No same Quinn, but i really want to" miguel says

"Well your smart, you'll get in on a scholarship for sure" i say

On our way to karate hawk was telling us about this encounter him, bert, and nate had in the boys bathroom today

"So he was just going to punch them for no reason?" I ask

" I don't know, bert and Nate might've said something to him before I walked in but they said they weren't planning on making anything physical" hawk says

"Do you know who the kid was?" Miguel asks

"No, but he looked young I'm guessing he was one of the 8th graders" hawk says

"Oh my god, if he's like that in 8th grade what do you think he'll do in high school" i say

At karate miyagi do and eagle fang still switched sensei's

Johnny still had that weird look on his face when he saw miguel training with Daniel I had to focus on training, i couldn't be focused on johnny.

We all spared for a little bit on the deck and then we went inside for some meditation. I personally don't feel like daniels ways help that much, but honestly miguel and eli seem to like it so I'm keeping my mouth shut. I just can't wait till johnny begins teaching me again.

"You ready?" I ask walking up to miguel as he packs his bag

"Oh I'm actually going to the shop with mr. Larusso. He's helping fix my moms car" he says

"Oh alright" i say as we walk outside

"Diaz, you Hungry? Man burgers and a side of steak fries?" My dad says as we walk out

"Oh um I'm actually going to finish up fixing my moms car with mr larusso" he says awkwardly

"Oh ok no problem" my dad says trying to play it off but you could tell he was disappointed

"If you want I can get a bite with you-" i try to say but am interrupted

"Sensei, ready when you are" miguel says to daniel. Johnny turned around when he heard miguel say sensei, assuming he was talking to him but when he saw he was talking to Daniel his face fell
