Thirty-six

It was now my fight with sam. I was kind of dreading it because I know I'm a better fighter than she is, but she's grown on me. Her whole family and the miyagi dojo has and it sucks having to crush their hope. But you do what you gatta.

"Alright you got this kid, you've beat her many times this is just one of those you got it?" Johnny asks and i nod getting on the mat

"FIGHT" the ref says and i begin of course knowing sam wouldn't strike first.

She seemed to be distracted during the fight and I felt bad cause that was me last year. I had to use it to my advantage though. I backed her up close to her side of the mat and swept her legs kicking her in the chest

"POINT EASTON" the ref yells

The next round I did something similar but she was the one to sweep my legs. She had fallen as well and hadn't landed anything so i quickly punched her earning another point

It was down to this. One more point and i was one step away from being all valley champion.

"FIGHT" the ref yells

Sam threw the first punch which caught me off gaurd. Wasn't she taught not to do that? She backed me up to the edge of the mat and went to sweep my legs but i beat her. I kicked her from the back causing her to fall. I quickly kneeled to her and strikes her chest

"EASTON WINS" the ref yells

"YOU HEARD IT HERE, QUINN EASTON AND TORY NICKLES WILL BE THE FEMALES FIGHTING FOR THE TITLE OF ALL VALLEY CHAMP" he yells

"Hey no hard feelings right?" I ask as i walk over to miyagi do

"For sure, besides you were the better choice to fight tory. You were once a cobra. You know what to do" sam says and i smile giving her a hug

"Oh uh eli, nice win, you deserve it" i say to him and he smiles

"Thanks quinn, I'll be saying the same to you in about thirty minutes" he says and i smile

"Well i better go, talk to you guys after?" I say and they both nod wishing me one last good luck

"AND NOW. THE MOMENT WEVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR. IN THREE SHORT ROUNDS WE WILL KNOW WHO THE NEW ALL VALLEY CHAMPION IS. WILL IT BE TORY FROM COBRA KAI? OR QUINN FROM EAGLE FANG" the announcer yells

"You ready for this?" tory says as we face on the mat but i don't respond. It isn't worth it and in the end we'll see who was the better fighter. We bow and begin the fight.

She ends up kicking me in the chest after faking me out which surprised me.

She was busy throwing punches and kicks and I knew I had to work smarter. I duck a punch causing us to switch sides. I kick her from the back and she falls. I quickly strike her chest warning a point. Next point wins

"COME ON QUINN" sam yells

"YOU GOT IT" eli yells

"KICK HER ASS" johnny screams

"FOCUS" daniel yells

We begin the fight and i started firing shots. I had her backed up to the line and quickly landed a punch on her chest.

"NO POINT OUT OF BOUNDS" the ref yells and my face drops

"ARE YOU KIDDING?" Sam yells

"SHE STEPPED OUT AFTER QUINN LANDED A PUNCH" daniel says to the ref and the ref just shrugs

"THATS BULLSHIT" johnny says

"Shake it off quinn, you did it once just do it again. Don't let it get in your head" johnny says and i nod as I meet tory back on the mat
