Chapter 8: Couples' Competition

I got ready and Camila told Ludmila the plan. Naty also came with us and we left with Ramallo and went to karaoke.

Girls: Thanks for the lift Ramallo!

Ramallo: It's not a problem. Have fun ladies!

We went into the karaoke bar and saw all our boyfriends there in a group at the table with Lara, Libbi, Clement and Gery. They came to greet us, and we sat down. Lara was sitting next to Leon at first, but he barely noticed her since I came.

Lara: I'm going to get some drinks.

She left when Leon and I started talking to each other.

Leon: Do you want anything to drink?

Violetta: Yes later, but first... I want to sing with you.

Camila: Guys, why don't we sing in our couples.

Naty: Maxi and I are singing first!

Ludmila: Fede and I will go after them.

Leon: Vilu and I will go third then.

Clement: Then Gery and I will sing after Vilu and Leon.

Camila: We'll go last because the audience want to hear the best couple last. Fran, you and Diego can go before us.

Ludmila: Who said you're the best? Fede and I have more chemistry than you and him. All you two do is fight and argue with each other.

Camila: No we don't fight a lot.

Broduey: I don't want to sing, so it doesn't matter.

Camila: Why not?

Broduey: Because you're in love with another guy!

Camila: Oh my gosh, now I get it! Broduey, all I said was that I love Diego as a person! He's always taking care of Fran even though he sometimes keep secrets from her, that's all!

Diego: What secrets do you think I'm keeping?

Francesca: Nothing. Ignore everything Camila's saying.

Camila: No, listen to me. She doesn't understand why you won't talk to her about your problems.

Francesca: Camila! What is your problem?

Camila: If I'm going down, you're going down with me!

Federico: I think we should all calm down and go and sing.

Andres: What about me?

Leon: Why don't you and Libbi sing together?

Libbi: I'd really like that.

We all watched as Andres and Libbi began to hit it off. Lara came back with a drinks, wondering what had happened.

Lara: Is something wrong?

Camila: We're having a pairs competition. We all chose our pairs already, but you can go with one of the boys of your choice.

Lara: Leon, may I go with you?

Leon: Yeah sure, I don't mind.

I couldn't understand how he didn't see that she wanted him. He hasn't even told her that I'm his girlfriend, that's why she is always wanting to do things with him.
