Reading through the books of the past, future, and present is pretty good. Especially since you wrote them.

Karl Jacobs smiles finishing up the book about a treasure hunt. He giggles before noticing something through all his books. Dream was the in every one of them. Dream was in the past, future, and present. Karl drops the book he was writing in. He feels a presence behind him pick up the book. "I think you dropped this bool Karl" He looks at the masked man snatching his book.

"Aren't you-" Dream covers his mouth preventing Karl to speak. "We should talk more privately about this" Karl spots a figure through the door way to his book room. Sapnap stood there staring at them. "Karl?" Karl muffles out words. Dream lifts up his mask smiling at Sapnap. He drops and invisibility potion consuming the two. Sapnap stares into the room entering it. "Karl!" He yells waving his hands around. 

The two were now in a place where no one can interrupt. The chat filling with worries from Sapnap. Quackity asking what's wrong. "Dream my fi-" Dream interrupts Karl by disabling both of their chats. Karl looks at the mask. He sighs at this. "I know you're immortal Cornelius" Dream smirks taking off his mask. "You are too Karl..." Karl shook his head at this. "N-No I'm not" Dream swings his mask around. "With your fiance's you're not" Karl backs away from Dream. Dream approaches him slowly. Karl's back hits a wall. Dream puts a hand beside his head holding a hand out for him to grab. "With me you will be"

"Dream.. I know we had an affair... But I'm loyal to my fiances" Karl looks up at the other directly into his eyes. "Karl I only ever wanted you.. You had to go get yourself engaged to Sapnap" Dream leans closely to Karl. "Dream I'm sorry.." Karl breathes in deeply from how close Dream was to him. He misses the others touch so much. The little kisses. Dream smirks giving a gentle kiss on Karl's cheek. Karl leans towards the kiss. "I really miss this.." Dream intertwines their fingers together. "Then be with me" Karl shook his head. Dream scoffs at this. "They mistreated you Karl. They lied to you. Manipulated you" Karl stares forward tearing up at the memories.

"Do you really want to stay in an abusive relationship?" Dream asks in a soft tone. "With me you'll be loved and cared for.. Even protected" Karl pushes him away in silence. "Sounds like you're manipulating me now.. You care about no one Dream.." Dream pins Karl to the wall having him trapped. "Karl I had to lie.. I didn't want Tommy to hurt you" Karl's eyes show a wanting. He wants this relationship. Dream's eyes showed genuine love towards Karl. "Fine.. But upon breaking up with my fiances I'm giving Sapnap a goodbye kiss"

"You're not giving one to Quackity?" Dream asks amused by this. Karl shook his head at question. "Alright.. See you at Church Prime then" Dream says snapping his fingers. Karl teleports right in front of Sapnap and Quackity. The two of them immediately pull him into a hug. "Are you okay Karl? Did Dream hurt you?" Sapnap asks now checking his fiance for anything. "I'll kill him if he did" In all honesty, Karl knew Sapnap was the only one who cared about him in the relationship. Though it felt empty. He felt more like a rebound to Quackity. "I'm fine.. But I have something to tell you guys.." The two look at him a bit worried. Quackity's was fake. He knows it was fake. Quackity only cared about Sapnap. He was a tool to Quackity. An object.

"I want to break up our relationship" Quackity soon grew furious at this. "Karl-" Sapnap interrupts him. "Why?" Karl breathes in looking at the floor. "I don't feel loved anymore.. When it was just me and Sapnap, I felt so loved and cared for" He pauses tearing up at this. "Then Quackity cane along and Sapnap changed. He started to hurt me. He'd kill me. Quackity you even used me! You don't care about me!" He shouts at them hugging himself. "Be better if I left you two alone" He leans close giving Sapnap a gentle kiss on the lips. A sad goodbye to the man he loved. Quackity crosses his arms.

"Goodbye.." Karl smiles sadly as he was teleported back to Dream. Dream immediately pulls him into a hug. Karl lets out all of his tears. "It's alright Karl.. Let it all out" Dream rubs circles on his back. Karl hugs Dream tightly. It still hurt. Especially since he let go of Sapnap. He loves Sapnap. This is the best thing to do though. "May you wear this Karl? To show others that you're mine" Karl pulls away as Dream pulls out a collar with Dream's mask as a dog tag on it. "This is weird champ" Dream laughs shaking his head. "I didn't know what else to get" Karl giggles as Dream puts the collar on him. "Should've got me a ring Dream" Dream rubs the back of his neck. Karl takes the ring that Sapnap gave him off. He stares at it as Dream puts down an enderchest. He puts it in the enderchest as a memory.

Two weeks flew by, Karl walks down the prime path. He smiles writing in his book about the future. He bumps into someone falling down to the ground. "Sorry" He says looking up to see Sapnap. Sapnap helps him up off the ground. "Thanks.." Karl picks up his book dusting it off.  "You're welcome.. I see you found someone else" Sapnap gestures to the collar Karl was wearing. Karl smiles fondly at it. "Yeah! Dream's been very sweet. He never lets anyone harm me" Sapnap suddenly pulls Karl into a hug. Karl hugs back patting Sapnap's back. "I'm sorry.." Sapnap covers his face in Karl's shoulder. "It's alright Sappy... You have to move on" Karl smiles softly as he held him.
