A Rivers Side Affects

Chapter 7

Mabel's POV

I opened my eyes to see that I was underwater.

WAIT WHAT?!

I shot straight up. I saw Dipper sleeping on the floor, with his deer half all spread out.

Awwwwwww, Dipdop looks so cute when be sleeps!

I looked closer at him and realized he had some serious bags. He looked like a vampire- and not the hot kind!

Wait, am I in the bathroom? I looked around me and saw that everything looked pretty normal.

Toilet, check. Bathtub, check. Other bathroom stuff, check. Mermaid tail, check. Dipper sleeping, ch- WAIT MERMAID TAIL?!?!!

"OHMYGOSH, OHMYGOSH!!!! I'M A MERMAID!!!! *Giant fangirl scream* "

Dippers POV

I woke up startled in the bathroom to see Mabel screaming. I must of fallen asleep watching her.

"Mabel! Are you okay?!" I yelled frantically.

"I'M A MERMAID!!"

"Oh, good I thought you were hurt or something."

I checked my watch, 1:03 A.M. Hmm.

"How am I a mermaid?!"  Mabel said, interrupting my train of thought.

"Remember, the other day, you fell into the cursed stream? Well, after you passed out, I carried you to the Shack, and you started, kind of, um, transforming. Like, you grew gills, and then you couldn't breathe, so we put you in the tub. Then, I go downstairs, only to find, ten minutes later your screaming your heart out! I come upstairs and bam! My sisters a mermaid! " 

"Wait, the other DAY? How long was I out?!"

"About... Hmm, I'd say, about 3 days."

"WHAT?! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN HERE WITH ME??"

"Uh.... Like, for at least half of the time. "

"OK, but can we focus on, HOW FLIPPIN COOL IT IS THAT I'M A MERMAID! Oh,  and your a like, deer-taur thingy? Whatever, anyway we can be the Mystery-Monster Twins! "

"Yeah, but first, I should probably mention something.... "

"What is it broseph? "

"Were not the only ones that are monsters."

"Whoa! Who else? "

"Try, the whole town. "

"WHAT?! "

"Yeah, um, I kinda, you know, accidentally, sorta led Grunkle Stan to the stream... "

"Why? How? "

"Well it happened when you had first passed out. "

*Flash back*

Almost an hour after you passed out, I decided to go retrieve my hat.

"Grunkle Stan! " I called. "Can you watch Mabel while I go get my hat?! I left it by the stream. "

"Uh, yeah, sure kid. "

I ran back to the stream, and looked around for my hat.

There it is! Over by that rock! I quickly grabbed my hat and proceeded to leave.

Little did I know, a certain con-man had followed me.

I got to the shack quickly, but I didn't see Grunkle Stan anywhere.
