Sydney found percy standing next to the Di Angelo siblings, both children had a look of horror on they're faces.

Percys sword was uncapped, and he was glancing around the room.

"Percy! Percy what the fuck do you think your doing!?" Sydney hissed.

He turned to her and sighed.

"Oh. It's just you"

"Yeah it is, now what the fuck are you doing? Your suppose to wait for Thalia, Annabeth and Grover!"

"I couldn't! Dr. Thorn took them, what was I suppose to do? Let them die!?"

Bianca gasped in horror. "Die?!" She yelled.

Sydney ignored her. She knew percy was right but she wasn't going to admit that.

"No! You wait for us! Okay? Stop trying to be the hero" Sydney hissed.

"I don't need Thalia! I can do it myself"

Sydney rolled her eyes. "Are you serious?
Is that what its about? You can't stand having someone else have the fame for a second?"

"No-"

"You can't let people help you?"

"No, i-"

"You just have to be the hero, huh?"

"Just shut up!" Percy snapped.

Sydney glared at him.

"We have to worry about them, okay?"

Sydney looked at the terrified children.

She sighed, percy was right.

"Are you okay? We're not going to hurt you" percy said.

Bianca stared at him with wide eyes.

"I'm Sydney, this is Percy. We're here to help you"

Biancas fist clenched and Sydney realized she wasn't afraid of them, she was trying to warn them.

"Percy-!"

Percy whirled around but it was to late.

A Whishhh sound was made and something shot at his shoulder.

He yelped in pain.

Sydney pulled out her guitar key chain hanging from her pocket, (a gift from her mother for her twelveth birthday) and tapped the strings.

It turned into a sword with a red gem in the middle of the handle, golden designs of vines on the handle.

Percy slammed into a wall and a cold laugh echoed through the hallway.

Sydney aimed her bow at the hallway.

Percy held his sword.

"Yes, perseus Jackson." Dr. Thorn said.
"Ah, and Sydney Sun, I know who you are"

Percy freed his shoulder and swung his sword but it went through nothing.

A sword his percys shoulder and he groaned.

"Percy! Oh gods!"

"I'm fine" he said.

A dark figure stepped out and Sydney pushed the children behind her.

"It's okay, I'll keep you safe" she whispered.

Nico whimpered and grabbed Biancas hand, she wrapped her arms around her younger brother.

"Thank you for coming out of the gym"
Dr. Thorn said. "I hate middle school dances"

"Yeah so do I" Sydney muttered.
