I ran to the lab my backpack on my back and suit in hand "BRUCEEEEEEE I NEEEEEEDD HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP" I said

"Im sorry but hu-" bruce started but I cut him off "I have been patrolling all night and I just remembered I have a biology project due tomorrow please help" I asked

"I- sure tell me what your projects about" he said and I smiled before putting my stuff on a empty table and hugging him "thank you bruce" I said "mhm now project" he said and I grinned as I started to tell him what I was gonna do

"ok so lets get started" he said and we both started to work on the project not seeing the time go by as I drank my monsters/redbull and he drank his coffee "ok so if we add this it should work" I said holding a vial thingy in my hand before adding it in after bruce nodded

I grabbed my 'monster' and finished it off 'hm why does it taste weird' I thought before shrugging and went back to the project as we finished it and I hugged him "thank you for helping me" I said

"no problem kid now be careful with it" he said "I will night bruce" I said as I put it in a box and grabbed my stuff as I headed to my room same with bruce

*in the morning*

I woke up feeling weird but I didnt pay attention as I got ready for school and headed out after saying morning to everyone I got into the car as happy drove me to school

"bye happy" I said getting out and closing the door before heading inside the school and towards my locker as I started to feel weirder and felt like my body was on fire

*in bio*

right as I was about to present my project my phone starting going off making me confused before looking at my teacher who nodded and allowed me to answer my phone

"hey bruce whats up?" I asked "peter did you have your monsters near the vials?" he asked "uh maybe why?" I asked and I heard him curse "cause when I went to the lab their was a empty vial next to a monster vial" he said and I realized what happened

"thats why when I finished the vial it tasted weird" I said "oh no peter im driving to get you stay on the phone" he said making me confused "do you know what I drank?" I asked "Acid" he said and I froze "is that why I feel like my bodys on fire" I asked

"probably Ill be there in a few to take you to get help" he said "ok ill go get my stuff" I said before I hung up "uh so theres a bit of an issue someone is coming to get me cause I accidentally drank acid" I said handing the project and its essay to the teacher

"you drank acid?" she asked "I had a edited monster vial that was next to the acid and instead of drinking the monster I drank the acid" I explained getting my stuff as I started to feel itchy and dizzy "ok you know what I dont even want to know" she said and I smiled "can I go" I asked

"check out in the office and get well" she sighed and I nodded before walking off to sign out and get help
