Peters P.O.V

I went to shoot a web at the newest bad guy but was shot twice in the chest with the gun the man had making me fall to the ground as I froze pain was all I felt as I slowly put my hand to my chest

"oh shit" the bad guy said before running off but I barely heard as everything went silent as I looked at the blood on my hand before looking at the wounds "no" I thought as I looked back up people staring at me in shock

I slowly looked back at my chest as I took off my mask which allowed me to breathe a bit better "help is on the way" I barely heard karen say as my legs went out to the sides instead of me sitting on them I let out a cough as blood started to come up

I barely heard the sirens as I slowly passed out knowing I probably wouldn't wake up again but couldnt fight the darkness that overtook my vision

I opened my eyes to a neutral grey landscape there was nothing for as far as you could see not even a ground "Peter spider-man parker, the hero for many" a voice echoed making me look around

"hello?" I called out "hello child" the voice said "who are you? am I dead? where am I?" I asked "who I am doesnt matter and no my dear child you are not dead yet and you are in the in between" the voice said "what do you mean dead yet and whats the inbetween" I asked

"well my dear child you are between the living and the dead you are not fully living yet also not fully dead" the voice answered "how do I get back" I asked "why would you want to go back your family is waiting for you" the voice said making me shake my head

"I would love to see them but I cant not yet I need to help the innocent and the team they would be heartbroken and closed off without me" I said standing up "I need to go back" I added as a determined look appeared on my face

"you are to good for this world but I shall help you my dear child and I wish you good luck" the voice said as a door appeared infront of me "thank you" I said before opening it and walking through making me back out

I slowly awoke to a voice but couldnt move or anything "hey petey its been a month now the team misses you same with me please come back soon" a voice said before I backed out again

"hey baby spider its been 3 months now and the team is falling apart without you and tony is locked in his lab and no one can get him out so please wake up soon" a voice said as I felt something wet fall on my arm which I realized were tears before blacking out

"hey peter its been 5 months now and no one is talking to one another please come back we need you please kid wake up soon we need you" a voice said before I blacked out again

I woke up again but this time I didnt hear any voices or anything other then some beeping "ugh thats so loud" I thought as I moved my arm a bit before pausing "I can move" I thought with a grin before slowly trying to open my eyes

it took a bit for my eyes to adjust to the light before I was full able to open my eyes which allowed me to see a medical room "friday?" I asked weakly as my voice came out in a rusty whisper "welcome to the living peter" a voice said making me smile

"where is everyone?" I asked weakly "sleeping other then tony seeing as it is currently 3:30 am" fri said "can you do be a favor and not let anyone know?" I asked as I sat up slowly "sure but please get better so you can get the team together" fri said
