I stood frozen in the building as I stared at the uncovered bomb. the timer was at 5 going down I didnt have enough time to get out the door still wouldnt move blocked by concrete on the other side. I was the only one there this was the last room I had to check

I backed away as far as I could from the bomb before it went off. I didnt know if I would make it or not. I hope the team is fine since no one answered my calls, Then again they most didnt talk to me or listen to me other then steve, clint, sam and bucky

The bomb made a ticking noise as it hit 0 before exploding making everything turn into slow motion. I was blasted against the wall, fire and heat burnin against my skin before everything went black

I sluggishly opened my eyes coughing some blood out as I looked around, I was still in the building and siting in a pool of my blood but the fire was gone and it wasnt hot....

'its not hot? why am I still here then' I thought slowly getting up as I moves around the debris and out of the exploded building and saw it was night meaning I was out for more then 7 hours

I walked to the alley I had left my bag in and deactivated the camouflage mode on it as I slowly changed into black combat joggers and a black hoodie before stuffing my suit into the bag and pulling out my phone and turning it on

I sighed as I turned my phone back off and started walking to the tower to grab the rest of my stuff left there since I had slowly been moving my stuff to my new house not that the team noticed

I walked into the tower and nodded my head to the person at the front desk as I walked towards the avengers elevator aka the only elevator that goes to the top floors

I walked inside and waited for it to stop at the common floor to get food cause shit nearly dying takes alot out of you I let out a cough before wincing in pain "you do not look alright peter would you like to go to the medbay instead?" Friday asked "no thanks friday" I said as the elevator stopped at the common room floor

I stepped out of the elevator and rolled my eyes as I saw the team watching a movie so I just walked over to the kitchen uncaring as I coughed again but this time my vision went black made me pause so I didnt run into anything

"oh peter when did you get back" steve asked "just now but I was just grabbing some food" I said before coughing again as my vision came back and I moved fully into the kitchen and to the refrigerator to grab something

"are you okay?" bruce asked slightly worried "huh oh yea im fine my lungs probably just have smoke still in them" I shrugged as I ate some food and grabbed a glass of water "hang on smoke?" bucky asked

"yeah smoke maybe turn on the news or answer your phones once in a while and you would know what im talking about" I said rolling my eyes as I cleaned up my mess as I walked back over towards the common area

"I broke my phone along with sam and steve" bucky said making me laugh "well Ill tell you what happened a building was falling apart since a bomb had exploded the left side but thankfully no one died and the injuries were treated as I went to the right side making sure to get everyone out well I had one room left but when I entered the room a concrete slab fell against the door meaning I couldnt open it without using my strength" I sighed looking away

"but when I looked around the room I saw a bomb with a timer it was counting down and I only had 5 seconds I couldnt get out in 5 so I was stuck when it went off and fire and heat was all I felt before I blacked out only to wake up a little bit ago" I finished "shit" they said "yeah and and then I had to walk all the way here cause my suit is burnt to much and my identity wouldve been out since my mask was destroyed" I said walking to my room

I opened my door and glanced at myself in the mirror before heading into the bathroom and taking a shower washing off the blood and ashes I heard my bedroom door open and people walk in but didnt really care as I continued to get clean

I stepped out of the shower and dried off before wrapping a towel around my waist as I grabbed my clothes and walked into the bedroom and saw bucky, sam, steve and clint "oh hey clint guessing you just got in?" I asked as I walked over and gave him a hug "yea heard what happened" he said before I walked behind a screen I had in my room and changing

"ah well im nearly healed all the way just sore and my lungs are clear so" I said as I finished changing and started to pack the last of my stuff "peter" he said "just leave it" I sighed as I continued to pack with them helping
