The Hero Meeting

"A detective named Watari was found dead at 6:45 AM today. No witnesses found and the cause of death is still unknown. Rumors are spreading that Mr.Watari knew the great detective L, investigators say that they're targetting L but why?"

Aizawa and the others stare at the TV with disbelief. "W-we were just with him!" Eiji exclaims.

"Do you think it was Endeavour?" Kota asks with a concerned expression on his face.

"Why would he do that? Wouldn't it be to risky?" Shinso questions.

"So it might of been the league. But why would they kill Watari?" Bakugou asks with his hands clenched.

"To get to y/n." Todoroki answers.

They continue to stare at the TV as a black hooded figure walks up to the scene wearing a mask. They show a badge and the officer by the crime scene tape immediately bows and lifts it up for him.

"Y/n." They say in unison.

"I'm sorry for your loss, y/n." Naomasa says, walking up to the hooded detective who stares at the lifeless Watari. "Call Tsuragmae. We need the higher ups for this investigation." Y/n says. "But why? We can surely handle this." Y/n snaps his head towards Naomasa who flinches back at his intense gaze. "Of course." He walks away with a bow.

Y/n then crouches down and puts black gloves on. Not moving the body much, he grabs Watari's unmoving hand. "I will find your killer, Watari." He whispers as he sees a clenched piece of paper in his hands. Y/n grabs it carefully and looks at it.

'Take my quirk.'

Y/n puts the paper in his pocket and glances around his surroundings. Police, CSI and reporters around the crime scene. Y/n puts two of his fingers on Watari's forehead, slowly collecting Watari's memory and quirk. After doing so, he stands up. Tsuragmae walks up to him.

"We'll have a meeting for this case with the pros. I'm sure you know the main topic of it." He says as y/n nods. "Don't bring Naomasa. He won't be the detective for this case. I will." Tsuragmae nods. "Anything else?"

"The meeting will be held at UA. I'll send you a list of the people we need at the meeting. Get forensics for his body and see if we can find any evidence of what or who could of killed him. Get any street cameras and dashcams of surrounding cars if there is any if possible. I'll also send you a list of people I suspect and we'll hold private interviews for them." Tsuragmae nods and walks away.

Y/n's phone begins to ring as he anwsers the call and holds the phone by his index finger and holds it up to his ear. He begins to walk away as police officers block the reporters to catch a glimse of the mysterious detective.

"Who are you suspecting?" It was Todoroki.

"I'm sure you can guess who." Y/n replies as he gets in a taxi. "UA high school." The driver nods and begins to drive.

"We'll finish this back at UA. We have a special guest."

"Who?" Y/n asks.

"How the hell can we trust the pros with this case?" Bakugou asks as the squad walk through the halls of UA.

"If we can't even trust the police and the number two pro, what makes you think we can trust the other pros?" Shinso asks.
