Hidden Lies; Sports Festival Part 1

2 Days Earlier-

Naomasa faces Tsuragmae. "What do you mean L is apart of the l/n case?" The chief asks. "As I said it sir, y/n is a l/n. We checked into it--" "You looked into his information just because you could?" Tsuragmae asks. "Well if we're going to be working with him, isn't it best we know more about him?" Naomasa asks. "His past isn't irrelevant to him now. Why search it when that case is closed?" Tsuragmae asks with an eyebrow raised. Naomasa went silent. "Its just...there must be a reason why he just, with no hesitation, said yes to Nezu on going to UA, right?" Naomasa replies. "Naomasa, I'm sure you're just being paranoid." Tsuragmae says with a huff. "But what if I'm not? What if L is there for something else?!" Naomasa exclaims. "He's there to find the UA traitor! Not be the traitor to UA himself!" Tsuragmae exclaims. "Maybe not the UA traitor but he's there to get a pro killed!" Naomasa yells. Tsuragmae looks at him confused. "What?" He asks. "The hero that was forced to kill his parents was Endeavour and his son goes to UA." Naomasa replies. "What's your point?" Tsuragmae asks. "What if he's there to get revenge?" Naomasa asks.

"That couldn't be possible. He's not the type to get revenge." Tsuragmae says. "But what if he is? Anyone would want revenge after what happened with him!" Naomasa exclaims. "But why would he wait this long!? If he wanted revenge, he would have acted already." Tsuragmae says.

"That's my point sir. The best killers wait. They wait until it's time to get the kill." Naomasa explains.

Present Time-

As 1A gather up their things, students stand in the doorway. "What's going on?!" Uraraka exclaims. "What is your business with class 1A?" Iida asks with choppy arm movements. "They're here to scout the enemy. I mean, we are the ones that survived a villain attack." Bakugou says as he walks towards the door.

"I came to see the famous class 1a but you seem pretty arrogant." A purple hair male pushed his way through the small crowd and looks at 1A. "Are all the students in the hero course like this, or is it just you?" He asks towards Bakugou. "The hell do you think you're talking to, you extra?" Bakugou growls as he goes to reach for the other male before his wrist got yanked away from Shinso.

Bakugou snaps his head at the male in front of him and glares. "The hell you doing eyebags!?" He yells. Shinso looks at y/n with widen eyes. "You're just making them hate us more. So leave the damn classroom or drop out of UA." Y/n says. Bakugou grabs y/n's shirt and pulls him closer to his face with a glare.

"Kacchan!"

"Bakugou, stop!"

"Who do you think you're talking to?" Bakugou growls. "An arrogant asshole." Y/n replies as Bakugou slams y/n into desks. "Guys stop fighting!" Mina exclaims. Bakugou gets on top of him and pulls his fist back, going for a punch before someone grabbed his arm and slammed Bakugou into the wall behind him. Bakugou growls and looks up.

"That's enough." Todoroki says blankly. "I'm surprised you of all people would save that extra. You seem to hate him the most." Bakugou says, standing up. "I do hate him." Todoroki says. Y/n rolls his eyes. "But I need him in top shape. I'm going to fight him during the sports festival." Todoroki looks down at y/n. "And he needs to be at his best when we do." Todoroki says. Y/n stands up. "There's no point in doing that." Y/n says as he goes towards the door, then looks back at Todoroki.

"Because I'm not going to fight you to battle out our hate for each other, I'm going to fight you to prove the point I've been trying to make since we've met." Y/n exits the classroom.

"WELCOME TO THE UA SPORTS FESTIVAL!!" Present Mic yells as the crowds go wild. "IN THIS CORNER, WE HAVE THE CLASS THAT SURVIVED THE VILLAIN ATTACK, CLASS 1A!!!" The crowds cheer as 1A walk out of the tunnel.

"There's so many people." Izuku says nervously. "Will we be able to preform at our best even with these people watching?" Iida asks as Izuku internally cries.

"I'm starting to get nervous. How about you, bakugou?" Kirishima asks. "I'm getting more into it." He growls with a grin.

As more classes get annouce, Midnight walks onto the stage. "For this years UA representative! We have Katsuki Bakugou!" She exclaims as the students jaws drop. Bakugou makes his way to the stage.

"I just wanna say....I'm gonna win." Everyone begins booing him.

"What the hell?!"

"Seriously Bakugou!?"

"Alright! For the first race! It's an obstacle course!" Midnight exclaims.

The students begin gathering around a tunnel. Y/n stands besides Aoyama. "Good luck to you, y/n~" He says with a wink. "Likewise." Y/n replies, eyeing him weirdly. "By the way...did you know that Shigaraki guy from the USJ?" Aoyama asks. Y/n shakes his head as the blonde steps closer. "It's bad to lie you know." He says. "Why does it matter to you?" Y/n asks. "No reason!" Aoyama replies, stepping away with a smile.

"BEGIN!!"

Flashback~

Todoroki faces Endeavour. "What do you want?" Todoroki spats. "Are you trying to rebel or something?! Enough with the attitude, Shoto!" The number 2 hero exclaims. Todoroki sighs. "I want you to beat y/n in the festival. No matter the cost." Endeavour explains. "And why should I?" Todoroki asks. "I already know you want to, and from what I've told you, I believe you already find it suspicious on why he suddenly appears into the world." Endeavour says. "Why does that matter, father?" Todoroki asks. "He wants to kill me, Shoto!" Endeavour exclaims. 'So do I.' Todoroki thought to himself. "I don't care." Todoroki scoffs. Endeavour glares at him and grabs his shirt and pulls him closer to his face.

"Shoto. If he kills me, he's going to find out what truly happened on that case." Endeavour growls. "What happened?" Todoroki asks.

"Y/n was also murdered." Todoroki eyes widen. "W..what?" He asks. "He's still alive!" He exclaims. "Yes, the only reason he is, is because he stole the life force of me, his parents and a bunch of other people." Endeavour replies. "Wouldn't they have to be dead or close to it to do that?" Todoroki asks.

"That's exactly my point, Shoto. He's the reason why his family is dead. They were already close to dying, and they would be alive today if he didn't take their lifeforce." Endeavour explains. "Didn't you kill them though?" Todoroki asks. "I thought I did, but they would of survived because they were still breathing. That's why y/n's quirk activated and then he killed them with his quirk." Endeavour explains.

"So what're you trying to say?!" Todoroki asks.

"Shoto, y/n is a murderer." Todoroki stares at him in disbelief. "W-what?"
