The two spent most of the day making and perfecting the cake. Jotaro was going to come home tonight.
"Daddy, why does dad go so much? Does he ever miss us?" Jolyne asked as they just finished the cake
"Dad has a lot of work, but I say here with you as I do my job, and yes he misses us every time he leaves." Nori gave a smile
"Hey, Daddy, what do you do for work?"
"I make art, I can show you some of them,"
"YES PLEASE!" Jolyne smiled her toothy smile
"Follow me,"
Nori and Jojo walked to his art room. When they got there Jolyne was in awe.
"Wow! Daddy, you did this?"
"Yup,"
"Daddy, is that grandpa?" she asked looking at a painting
"Yeah actually, I made it from my favorite picture I have. See that's grandpa Joseph, uncle Pol, uncle Avdol, dad, and that one's me, " Nori smiled showed her the painting from the past trip
"Wow! You're so pretty! No wonder dad fell in love!" Jolyne gave the biggest smile
"Speaking of dad he should be here soon" Nori smiled
~Half an hour later~
"I'm back!" Jotaro called from the other door
Jotaro walked to the kitchen to see Nori and Jolyen washing dishes together.
Jotaro walked up and hugged Nori from behind.
"Hello, " Nori smiled
"Dad!" Jolyne called
"Yes?" Jotaro smiled
"I want a hug tooooo" Jolyne complained
Jotaro picked Jolyen up and started spinning around a little as Nori watched.
Jotaro sat Jolyne down after a minute and she ran to Nori.
"Daddy! Daddy! When will we show dad?" Jolyne whispered as quietly as possible
"Whenever you want" Nori replying
"Show me?" Jotaro asked
"Dad, me and Daddy made something for you" Jolyne gave the toothy smile
"Jolyne you lost your front teeth, " Jotaro smiled as he put a knee to the ground to see her better
"Yeah, the tooth fairy gave me 5 dollars because I lost them the same day!" Jolyne replied so happily
"That's so generous of the tooth fairy, isn't it?" Jotaro smiled more
"Wanna show him what you made?" Nori asked
"Yeah! Dad open the fridge!" Jolyne gave another toothy smile
"Okay, " Jotaro laughed
He got up from the floor and opened the fringe; he was the ocean-themed cake the two made.
"Jolyne did most of it, I just put it in the oven" Nori smiled
"This is amazing Jolyen!" Jotaro laughed
